Started playing a few weeks ago. Up to tier 4 in FFA but still struggling with the other modes. Been playing around in instagib lately, fun stuff. Improved my rail accuracy to 40%, yay

Anyone want do some games? I am fucking terrible btw but trying to improve since my friend is at a level now to play even with relatively known players in the quake community (not the pros) but the semi pros if you will. I figured I need to get in to this as it looks freaking awesome when you play at that level.

Great game, can't beat its price too. Plays almost exactly as I remember playing quake3 but in a web browser no less!
They make lots of game modes and unique features. I had a blast playing the freeze tag mode this past christmas.

Wow, this just widened my eyes about the depth of Quake. I knew Quake was about knowing the map, but it's insane the amount of knowledge you have to apply to be remotely decent at this game.

so an update on the state of this thread: I started it, with my last account (which was banned, fairly, for a post that was nonetheless pretty lols).

Just nailed my first bridge to railgun jump on DM6 :D Never thought I would make it.
Having a blast at this game. Its a nice break from playing starcraft 2 ^^.
