Also, Maddjin was supposed to post a LP as Venice today...is he really going to wait until the actual release to post it, which I suppose will still be good for the god forsaken Europeans but what about us? there is still 5 hours to go | ||

Also, paying a bit more attention to the geography of your city placement can make a world of difference in terms of staving off attacks with a minimal military. Mountains and coastlines can be OP! | ||

Like best game options (best as fun or best as challenge ?) or the most "optimal" way (as in fastest or easiest ?) You're not forced to go conquering to win this game, if you want to be peaceful, at level 3, the wars you will face when attacked should be really easy at that level if you build at least a handful of ranged units and upgrade them as tech goes on. Just make sure to build libraries, universities etc and you should be light years ahead of your opponents at this level. Don't build wonders that do nothing for your strategy, that's one of the biggest mistake of new players. | ||
