In any case it's the only FPS game that I play online atm, even though thats very rarely. Been a BF player since 1942 and CoD's never did attract me. And Torte de Lini keep at it, you might even find it more fun/easier once you unlock most weapons etc. At least thats how it was for me as most people had everything unlocked when I first bought the game. | ||

Trolling recons by wearing body armor as a medic is pretty fun too, unless they use a barret/headshot they can't one hit you in HC. | ||

My new anti-noob kit is running the 870 with slugs on an assault class. That way I can countersnipe decently with that loadout, even taking out snipers from halfway across the map on Operation Hastings (the 870 is a beast with slugs), which deals with the inevitable flock of recon campers. The 870 also packs a massive punch up close, even when not using buckshot, so I can run and gun and take down objectives too. With that kit, the main weak area I have is at medium range; feeling strong at both close and very long distance. I don't know if that's just my aim being bad at those middle distances, or if it's just an inherent weakness in the kit. Probably my aim.  | ||

It runs 60fps on max with my i5-750 and gtx460. Note: You absolutely NEED quad core for the game to be playable. | ||

DICE themselves said for BF3 they knew BC2 was poorly optimized and was heavily consolized and they were fixing that for BF3. And you don't absolutely need a Quad Core. I run this game at 45-50 FPS during huge firefights on an E5200 Dual Core. Also, note for everyone: This game measures ping very strangely. It says it's much higher than it really is. The rule of thumb is essentially divide your ping shown on the scoreboard in half and that's your actual ping. | ||
