also, nice lyrics aeres also, lol at engrishy lyrics ftw also, I love aoijiru as a piano composer (does he play too?), but maybe shanghai alice of meiji 17 is one of his early works or something, because i don't like it as much I do his other arrangements I mean, u can still feel his style in it, and it sounds generally good, but it doesn't sound epic like his other ones... may be I just have to give it more time first though Also Aeres, that song gets my vote for best song posted since the last few posts (judgment) | ||

My question is whether the Extra Stage is intended to be beatable at this level of skill. My guess is no, because even Flandre's first spell card is BULLSHIT hard for me right now, and I've only made it to her fourth spell card one time (I died within 3 seconds too). I can't decide whether to try more at Hard difficulty or just move on to PCB. | ||

Extra is basically Lunatic difficulty on most Touhou games. 1CCing normal does require some skill, but you'll probably need to refine your dodging to clear Extra. If you can beast mode EoSD Normal, I'd suggest starting PCB on Hard. It's a bit of an easier game and will make you a better player after you take some beatings.  Edit: Also, Ten Desires I think is a pretty good "starter" Touhou for getting better, since almost every card is pure dodging and there is a spell practice mode. | ||

Put some headphones on, turn the volume as high as you can, and just immerse yourself in the fires. The instrumental version is amazing in its own right, especially the chorus with the guitar line and the background synths. It's simply amazing. | ||

it's quite different/unique considinerg ZUN's usual fast paced songs with fast note runs and etc., it's emotional and beauitiful but meh i havent played all the games and u'r just saying its overrated [relatively] Zun i love u u secxksy boi | ||

Each score is an aggregate of stage + boss theme, per stage (pcb has extra and phantasm combined) EoSD: 8, 6, 8, 7, 10, 9, 8, aggregate 8 PCB: 8, 5, 7, 7, 8, 8, 7, aggregate 7 1/7 IN: 6, 7, 6, 8, 7, 9/8, 10, aggregate 7 1/2 MoF: 7, 9, 9, 9, 8, 9, 8, aggregate 8 3/7 (minus five points for sanae) SA: 6, 8, 7, 10, 8, 10, 9, aggregate 8 2/7 UFO: 7, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 7, aggregate 6 6/7 10D: 9, 6, 8, 7, 7, 10, 7, aggregate 7 5/7 I just find UFO music to be so much weaker because nothing really stands out as well. zun seems to have had better alcohol to drink for 10D. But MoF songs are too memorable (although again, sanaes a bitch) | ||
