Yuuhei Satellite is SO AWESOME! I've been listening to their music even more these days and DAMN. I was excited for Reitaisai 11 (sorta forgot about it actually due to me wanting to not get overhyped) and I checked to see if YS had a new album. Yep! I tell myself not to get too excited but I listen to all 3 songs which I like, 2 of which are awesome. FUCK <3 + Show Spoiler + Really nice original! New version of their Walking the Streets of a Former Hell Not that great but as usual the arrangement is very fitting to the original. | ||

Well I checked just today and he actually has a few albums he's arranged for over the last 3 years (yeah, wow I never checked...? Or I checked youtube and not VGMDB, since a lot of his stuff isn't on youtube). While he didn't arrange a majority of them, I found that the other arrangers he works with are pretty good too and have somewhat similar styles; I'll be listening to these for the next few days. Here's a decent Sukuna by Aether from 2011 Also Sukuna's pose in that picture is awesome! | ||

I considered crossdressing something for fun, and I also wanted to do Touhou. Well then I realized how awesome the touhouvania designs looked and that their designs look both feminine and masculine and would be a good choice. So I decided to do Youmu http://www.cosplayholic.com/cfolder/Cosplayholic/Library/Tree/New_Folder/Youmu_konpaku.jpg I was also considering Marisa ( http://farm9.static.flickr.com/8349/8241125644_a3b921a035_b.jpg ) but I figured it would hotter in these clothes (especially if i wear the undergarment thing that looks like a full body bloomer) and I couldn't find any hat that looked as cool as it should. Thing is, for the Youmu one I was thinking of just wearing it like that (and with the sword on her waist). I think the design with the skirt + shorts + long shirt is really cool. But maybe wearing pants instead of the shorts or wearing pants instead of skirt + shorts could be better. Any thoughts? There is a 'refix' of their Bad Apple remix that was produced in 2010 - although I can pick out some differences (cleaner vocals and backing track), I'm sure there is more to it. Anyone able to help? | ||

And this is the original Bad Apple arrange from like 2000 and late. I'm guessing they had a live show in 2010 and used the track from that show on the first album, and then remastered it for the second one. | ||

Make sure to post pics! And always skirt, never not skirt I think Marisa would look cooler (or hotter wait...) but it's your choice~ It's at the end of October though, shouldn't it be cold? Unless you live in the south | ||

With Youmu's, I'd have to shave my legs which is ugh, I was thinking I could just wear full black leggings since I don't have slender pale bishi legs to show off and I feel like it actually gives a darker, cooler look. I'm actually reconsidering doing Marisa now, partly because I feel there's less room for "error" with that one (long, loose clothing, and a formal black at that), both in terms of how well I can pull it off and how well the costume makers make it fit me. It's a bit cheaper (like $170 vs $220) too. With Marisa I'll get to wear a long wig (I feel like shorter wigs require more styling to look good) but I'll have to wear a hat and carry a broom if I want to, whereas with Youmu I can carry the sword on my waist. I have to take comfort into consideration too because I'll be playing in a SC2 tournament there and might have to sit and play for 12 hours on one day like last year. I'm gonna ask a good friend of mine for his input too, hopefully I can decide soon :D I'm so indecisive hehe. ALSO THANKS GUYS FOR POSTING MORE MUSIC WOOT! Edit: Yea actually i'm going to go with the Marisa one :D Especially because since it covers almost all my body I can actually be gender ambiguous.
