So is anyone planning on trying 13.5 out? I probably will because why not. I tried the first demo build, but not the second. Still not sure how I feel about the game. It's fun and pretty simple, but it didn't really grab me the way Soku did so I'm not sure how long I'll stay interested in playing it. I am really character/race/class unloyal in any game and usually bounce around until I find something that clicks. Initially I'm going to be trying Byakuren because her unique trait (you need to 'load' her special moves with Buddhist prayers before performing them, but they're stronger than anyone else. A true bruiser type) sounds the most interesting to me. Anyone else know who they'll be playing as first?

The devs found a game breaking bug so don't forget to pick up the day 1 patch. And it seems that the game crashes for some people on the last boss if you don't change your computer to Japanese locale. Just seeing the screenshots and I really like the design of 13.5's last boss. And Miko is looking to be the smuggest Touhou of them all.

For Touhou 14, from what people are talking about, it seems that the bosses have some relationship to both Japanese and Western mythology. Perhaps that's where the title Double Dealing Character comes from. Though the title will probably have a double meaning.

Four new character names to memorize. ._.

I really like the character designs for Wakasagihime, Kagerou Imaizumi, and Kokoro Hata. Mermaids, werewolves, and whatever the fuck Kokoro is are all fine by me. Sekibanki is alright (I like the idea of a dullahan character), but the bigass collar just makes her look weird. That might just be the byproduct of ZUN-art, though.
