The one pretty important point in the Avilo and Idra discussion was that sure, if zerg decides to be greedy Terran can also be greedy, but it just works one way. Zerg can do whatever he wants, and if he decides to be greedy then except for some really extreme all-ins the worst that could happen to him is 'being forced' into a lategame, which is not bad at all. If Terran decides to be greedy, he's much more vulnerable. And with the way the Zerg economy develops it's easier for Zerg to reach the point where he can tech switch freely than for Terran to be able to do the same, which is also a relatively good point.
Avilo had a good shot at getting both of those across, but instead decided to focus on imputing a biased bs to Idra. There's a big difference between pointing out where TvZ is imbalanced, and calling the entire matchup an unwinable bs. It wasn't even a hard discussion to win, at the very least reach a draw. Sure, Idra was kinda bad mannered there, but how exactly is that news? JP and Idra were admittedly kind of biased towards Avilo, but he also got lost in his own argument towards the end, didn't really need much help to make himself sound stupid.
"Sure, Idra was kinda bad mannered there, but how exactly is that news?"
Just because he's known for being bad mannered and disrespectful doesn't make it more acceptable in any way. Stupid way of trying to sweep it under the rug.

Yo man I absolutely love state of the game and I dont think all the players on the shower were involved with what ahppened to you.. but I just want to say you conducted yourself well man and I was a little embarrased for sotg.. it was so obvious how flustered idra got because you wouldn't come down to his level. I like greg a lot, but this was just lame. Why do people think they are so fucking important it makes me not even want to try to be apart of the community sometimes. Keep being you man take care

Avilo u still play tennis?

He not only plays, he coaches and is good.
If anyone saw Incontrol ridicule avilo's lisp with his impression of Daffy Duck on SOTG prior to introducing avilo, please PM me. I searched the video three times and either I missed it, or it's been "conveniently deleted. Thanks.

Well, even during 2rax era, avilo claimed that TvZ is unplayable and shit so I can understand people who are negatively biased towards avilo's words on Terran non-mirror matchups.

Stupid way of trying to sweep it under the rug. I don't see how this is any better than what he was trying to 'sweep under the rug'. If you are going to respond to one sentence of a 2 paragraph post, you might as well not bother and accept that you lost the argument.
I do think that Avilo had a good point, but he went about it in the worst way possible.

Thanks for the support guys and a great big ty to Codon for working so hard to keep the fan club updated.
The link to the nuke replay pack is outta date. I told avilo about that months ago, but he hasn't updated the pack.
Also guess spoiler didn't work. LOL! Anyways, the captions on the pics are great!
I was just looking at the featured list and had to laugh. Avilo, who is non-featured (and should be) has been getting over 200 viewers regularly.
Some featured:
ROOTT1 - 53 viewers Echo - 88 viewers NASL (has to laugh) 113
Certainly, TL would not discriminate against avilo. Every time I've asked why he isn't featured yet, I've been told he doesn't have enough viewers and hasn't won any major tournaments. However, I've seen plenty of players on that list that have not won any "major" tournaments" and have hardly any viewers. Kinda makes me sad.

lol, the other night there were a couple featured streamers with less than 10 (that's right, TEN!) viewers.

Codon, thank you, again, for keeping avilo's fan club page lookin good.
Now that avilo is, once again, GM and on the top 50 streamer's list (although I feel there is a discrepancy in the actual numbers - 111?) I wonder if TL will consider featuring him. I won't hold my breath, but it seems a travesty that TL is holding him back.
I heard that EG runs TL, does anyone know if that's true? If so, then I know exactly why avilo has not been featured.

TL's rival team runs their community website? Seems legit..

To both of the above...when I heard that, I was in disbelief, too. That's why I asked. Probably was someone just trolling me. I'm blonde, I'm gullible. hahaha
