Well if they're gonna go by "accomplishments", I guess destiny and drewbie (along with many many others) should be un-featured as well.

If that is the case what on earth are streamers like all the broodwar streams being featured? GordonHayward? Protech- (doesn't even really play 1v1, plays top level 2v2 and team stuff, very entertaining stream though and epic music) these are just a few featured streams that come to mind there are plenty more that could be made a case they have little to no actual accomplishments in sc2.

the lack of consistency here is astounding. Either have criteria for featured streams or don't, screwing over people like megumi who do quite a bit for the community and have seemingly earned a spot on featured stream only to get shafted by "Lack of accomplishments in sc2" is wrong.

Sure maybe it was a mistake featuring her in the first place...but I think the reason as to why this stream was unfeatured is more of an issue than the actual unfeaturing.

CombatEX is banned from TL and still gets almost 3k viewers every time he streams. Why? Because it's hilarious and entertaining as fuck.

If her stream was really THAT good then she should be able to get viewers in spite of not being featured.

My point isn't about losing viewer numbers. It's about featured stream polices in general.

megumi will probably continue to stream and continue to have plenty of viewers. Good streams will and should naturally get viewers. Her stream got quite popular over a pretty short period of time. Sure she was probably aided by being featured rather questionably early on, but for the past few months I think numbers and content wise the stream was pretty well solidified in its place.

There are plenty of popular streamers like combatex who are banned from TL or not featured. My focus with that post was not so much on needing to be featured for success, it was more focused on what constitutes a featured streamer period.

Megumixbear is nothing but a great addition to the community of SC2 and e-sports. Even if she were unfeatured, i'm sure many of us appreciate what she does. Still, it would be nice to have her featured again. Sides, who gets a tweet from the official Lakers twitter account?

better than most players and works mon-fri, interacts and is friendly with stream, hosts tournaments. seriously deserves to be featured. I love watching korean progamers stream but megumix contributes more to the community than them. I guess run should be removed because he has no achievements (nothing against him I like him) just saying that removing her because of lack of achievements is really stupid.

Completely random.... Megumi is one of the best female sc2 players in the world and a great personality. I would like to see these required "achievements" to be featured. Its not possible that she just all of a sudden doesnt qualify anymore.

ladder rating aside protech played in ptsl with power (4th and easily could have been higher, very respectable showing considering everyone else were pro level 1v1'rs). He'll be playing in the second season of PTSL, but if any more team tournaments pop up he'll obviously get into those as well

I don't really get why she was unfeatured, considering she gets more views than a lot of featured streamers and some of the featured players don't really play the game (2v2 only, or LoL). Hopefully she gets put back, but for now just check facebook/twitter to see if she's streaming.

Sign me to the petition to get Megumixbear back as a featured streamer. She hosts several tournaments (bear cups) and always does the casting and hosting of the tournament in a very professional manner. She also plays a master level terran while helping people get a better understanding of the game. I really hope this gets over turned because she is a great member of TL, and the sc2 community and that should be enough merit to keep her around.

What this makes no sense! Seems pretty arbitrary to unfeature her now. Half the featured streamers are people no one cares about anyways. Not cool TL! Not cool!!

There are plenty of streamers that are featured without notable accomplishments in Starcraft 2, so this is no reason for unfeaturing her. I feel like they take other factors into account with other streamers that they are neglecting with her?!

Megumi has constantly high viewer counts, sometimes even higher than some pro players. So obviously people want to watch her. People in high demand like her definitely should be featured for obvious reasons. Moreover she contributed a great deal to the community by hosting her bearcups, giving out prize money/lessons, and this is how she gets paid back?!

I do not agree with TLs decision and ask them to reconsider.

I tend to agree with a lot of what's been said. I can't comment too much on the quality of the stream as I'm not a frequent viewer. However, there seems to be some inconsistency if her stream was featured in spite of having no accomplishments and relatively low skill compared to most featured streamers, and then removed for those same reasons which were overlooked when the featuring took place. I'm pretty sure she has never claimed herself to be one of the best in the world, so if she was featured for her viewer count and contributions to the community, why not keep her featured?

Megumixbear is a caring, honest, and skilled gamer that cares and interacts with her viewers in a way that very few others do. I don't really understand why this stream was unfeatured so abruptly and I hope TL repeals their decision and apologies for their extremely vague and impolite message toward megumi. No "thanks" or "sorry" whatsoever. I don't usually post at all but this is something that I felt I needed to say.

Lol, they're much better, but they haven't won anything at all. They've literally accomplished nothing.
