bro, I can assure you that there are players a lot better than megumi (no offense to her or anything) that will never have a chance of getting featured on TL. Right now, I think she was even lucky to get featured in the first place, otherwise I would have absolutely no idea who she is (lol)

EDIT: Polyphony speakin the truth. People like FourKWarden are GM level, and will never get a lot of viewers because of the feast or famine system, while megumixbear feasts on her featured stream, with lackluster gameplay, and little to no casting to speak of.
I think its ridiculous that they had megumixbear featured for so long and just now decided that she was not worthy enough to be featured. I am going to list a number of accomplishments that will hopefully help bring her stream back to being featured.
1: She played BW in the past and pretty big in the BGH scene 2: She has acquired a fanbase much larger then a lot of the featured streamers at the moment not because she is one of the biggest female gamers in NA but also because of her tournaments and constant interaction with the Starcraft scene. 3: She hosts tournaments monthly for both lower league and high league players. 4: She has been a top masters player for a very long time. 5: Every time a new league has come out she has been promoted to that league, besides Grandmasters which is quite difficult to get into especially someone who juggles real life work aswell as starcraft. 6: She finds so much time for her viewers. Most nights she incorporates them in custom games with many pro players. 7: She gives great commentary and tips that she has learned through experience with other gamers(pro gamers aswell). She is always offering her assistance to her viewers.
So honestly, there should be no reason that Megumi should be unfeatured since she has given so much to the Starcraft Community as I have listed above.
1. A lot of people played BW and were big in more competitive scenes who stream now. 2. She acquired a lot of her fanbase because A) She's female and B) she was featured on TeamLiquid, etc. Still, this is not a reason to be featured. 3. I host tournaments every single week for Platinum-Diamond level players, should I be featured now? 4. Again, people like FourKWarden are Grandmaster level players, and aren't featured. 5. There are grandmasters who have less time to improve, and there are grandmasters that do have the time, but aren't featured. 6. You just said she had no time to become Grandmaster, guess that excuse fell apart... Viewer interaction is cool, but a lot of streamers do that, they just aren't always featured. 7. Pretty much any streamer with a mic does this, this is not featured material.
So honestly, there should be no reason that Megumi should be featured since she is a lackluster player and streamer, who only gets viewers because she's a woman.
As far as I know streams are featured based on the amount of educational value one can receive from it. I might not be a great 1v1 player but im ranked 1 for 2v2s, i know how to play them and you can learn how to paly them on my stream.
EDIT: and it would be great not to destory my stream just beacuse someone else gets un-featured.

No one's saying you should be unfeatured, we're just saying it makes no sense to have things like 2v2 (lets face it, it's not even the same game) and League of Legends on featured streams while she gets unfeatured even though she's good for the community and pulls in at least 500 viewers a night.

Unlike most of the other featured streamers, she analyzes her own games while she plays, interacts with viewers, hosts tournaments (and supplies the prizes), gives free lessons on stream, and gives tips from an assortment of gms she plays with who otherwise would likely not offer such insights for free. She also has consistently more viewers than many of the other featured streams. And... she's entertaining. Loyal fans of Destiny or CatZ know what I mean; not everyone is so fun on stream. I disagree with the decision to unfeature her stream.
LojiQaen, it makes no sense to argue that individually the things that make her a good streamer aren't enough to make her a good streamer. And you are flat out lying to say other things like most other streamers interact with their viewers and offer high level commentary because it is uncommon, and even more rare to be done to such a degree.

Megumixbear's stream has been unfeatured due to a lack of accomplishments in SC2.
This isn't seriously a TL statement is it? Why was she made featured streamer in the first place, and kept as one for so long? This reason to unfeature her stream makes no sense unless TL is admitting to being completely incompetent at assessing players' skill level. Did she turn down someone at TL?

Yep it's true. The iGware account that maphacked his way to GM#1 was played by Sorcery. Funnily enough, i'm pretty sure Protech was the one that brought the issue to light.
As for the Trump thing, i just checked his stats and he is currently #6 master's level player on NA, so he's/was pretty damn close to GM, which is a lot better than megumi, who's just a mid-level master's player.They both talk a lot and interact with the chat, so really, the only thing megumi has going for her is that she hosts tournaments, but that's about it.
