At the start of the night, if she is wearing a shirt showing off her tits - chug a beer
When she says something is overpowered/imba etc - 1 drink When she is "countered" (aka outplayed) and cries about it - 1 drink When she bitches about someone being unpleasant - 1 drink Everytime she talks to a known player on Bnet or Skype (because they want to bang her at MLG) - 1 drink When she gives shit advice to her viewers - 1 drink If she says something racist or does an accent - 1 drink Everytime she goes to get food or starts eating random shit with chopsticks - finish your beer If she wins a game - finish your beer Ditches stream to go play practice games (aka get raped by people way better than her and just want to bang her at MLGs) - chug a beer Ditches stream because day9 skypes her (or if day9 drunk dials her on skype) - chug a beer
Not even a warning? -_-
Megumi is good to her viewers. She has tournaments and draws pictures for them and plays games with them. Most other popular streamers rarely even read their chat. Even the ones who make decent money off their viewers.
Of course she plays with known players. Who wouldnt if given the opportunity? Youre just jealous that they dont wanna play with you. Or jealous that they get her attention and you dont. Its quite obvious that you are a frequent viewer.

Yeah dude got banned cause he spammed that in her bear cup threads too and was a previously banned user. Plus I agree with you. It's quite obvious he watches her stream a ton and now went troll mode probably cause she didn't give him the personal attention he wanted.
so I don't sleep till like 5am last night and megumi is streaming. I sleep for only 4 or 5 hours wake up and shes STILL streaming. I go into chat and I'm like,

Not agreeing with this or anything.. I just wish someone made a drinking game about my stream.
Megumixbear's stream has been unfeatured due to a lack of accomplishments in SC2.
Personally I think this is a hit to the community, since she's very fun to watch, interacts with her viewers constantly, and is one of the nicest people you'll meet. She also organizes and runs regular tournaments. I ask the people of this forum to petition against this decison.

Wait a moment, really? When was it unfeatured? And whats up with that reason?
Why. She has a great stream, she is fun to watch and good to her viewers, hosts tournaments. What do people like protech do? He was attacking his teamates I think in team games a couple days ago. Put megumixbear back up plz

sounds like a load of crap to me. she never had any accomplishments in the first place, so why would they feature her (without any accomplishments) and then allegedly un-feature her because she has a lack of accomplishments. makes no sense dude.
edit: you guys are going to look like a bunch of fools when it turns out this guy is full of shit.
A streamer like Megumi who obviously has a full time job yet still finds time to play at a masters level, interact with her viewers, and host her own tourneys is making an excellent impact on the community IMO. Not everyone is a super high level player or capable of going to tourneys, but by playing customs with everyone and holding tourneys for all different leagues, all levels of players are being accomodated to. Removing her featured stream adds nothing to this community, and only takes a fun and talented player who makes everyone enjoy starcraft that much more away from them. Bring it back! Even the lakers love her!
Damn, that sucks. I love her and her stream, she's pretty funny, good player, she goes through the analysis of any game she plays or casts, interacts alot with her viewers, organizes tourneys and is cute to booth! Sign me up, and hope they feature her back.
This raises a serious question about how TL handles featured streamers in general. What TL staff members have said and from what I have understood over the past few months is the following:
there are no fixed criteria to becoming a featured streamer on TL. The process is arbitrarily decided upon by a few select staffers without having any true fixed criteria but they weigh following things such as accomplishments in sc2, name recognition, relative skill level, stream popularity, stream quality, viewer feedback, community feedback, stream content and more. (someone correct me if I'm wrong on this)
Every featured stream will or should be meeting at least 80-90% of those criteria.
Because of this you see plenty of grandmaster players nowhere near being featured and other players possibly lesser skilled but doing quite entertaining things or meeting many other requirements. One example I could use would be MrBitter and his hosting of the 12 weeks with the pros. His stream was featured shortly after this began because it was freaking amazing. He was a midmasters player at the time with 0 accomplishments in sc2.
Seeing a reason like this given as to why a stream is being unfeatured implies you need a number of "accomplishments" in SC2 to be a featured streamer period.
If that is the case what on earth are streamers like all the broodwar streams being featured? GordonHayward? Protech- (doesn't even really play 1v1, plays top level 2v2 and team stuff, very entertaining stream though and epic music) these are just a few featured streams that come to mind there are plenty more that could be made a case they have little to no actual accomplishments in sc2.
the lack of consistency here is astounding. Either have criteria for featured streams or don't, screwing over people like megumi who do quite a bit for the community and have seemingly earned a spot on featured stream only to get shafted by "Lack of accomplishments in sc2" is wrong.
Sure maybe it was a mistake featuring her in the first place...but I think the reason as to why this stream was unfeatured is more of an issue than the actual unfeaturing.

I don't see your point. CombatEX is banned from TL and still gets almost 3k viewers every time he streams. Why? Because it's hilarious and entertaining as fuck.
If her stream was really THAT good then she should be able to get viewers in spite of not being featured.
