Maybe if you only count in Major touranments, but then, it might still be Ret over him. Like seriously? Are you swede, is that where your bias comes from? I can't believe how mind tiwsted and delusional some people can be only to keep the image of their "hero" to be as good as possible, even when it means altering reality. First of all, it's only 2 month of hots, with only DH being biggest tour so far. Wcs being second premiere tour, he took the second place at DH, and fallen out at RO16 WCS. And you call him most successful foreigner in hots? Geez. Vortix is like ultra polite and mannered guy, really cool and did not deserve that kind of BM live, i felt bad for him. And part about loser comming to the winner is a total bullshit. He tried to cheer him up and what he said was something like "good games", i can't imagine vortix saying any BM. Or maybe instead of handshaking he should do this: I really can't stand toxic fanboyism, not really supporting player but being destructive part of community by putting one player above others in every situation. If you support Naniwa then at least be aware how he acts, that he is one of the worst mannered player in the game. Don't forcefuly try to change his image. User was warned for this post

Obviously naniwa wasn't too happy after the loss and walking up instantly after the gg as the winner to shake hands is more like rubbing it in his face than being a good sportsman imo. I'm not saying it was straight out bm but a bit insensitive, I think the winner should wait for the loser to come up and shake hands. Anyway I look forward to see Nani play again, and I know that he's going to deliver great games - keep fighting nani!

As you point out, the only big tournaments this far has been MLG and dreamhack, and the only foreigner doing well in any of those is Naniwa, hence he's arguably the most successful foreigner in HotS. How is that even controversial? Naniwa being BM or not is totally irrelevant in determining who's the most successful foreigner. "Toxic fanboyism", how can fanboyism ever be toxic? Almost by definition, hate is toxic, love isn't.

In every competitive sport you shake hands after a competition, to show respect too your opponent. Even if you have lost you can still thank your opponent for the game. It hasn't anything to do with rubbing it in his face....

Almost by definition, hate is toxic, love isn't. Yes, second place at DH, dropped at RO16 WCS. Whoever wins WCS will be the best foreigner in hots obviously. Because he is out at such early stage, he can't be considered the best foreigner. And you missed my point about BM. The guy i qouted was blaming vortix like madman for low behaviour whatsoever, and i have responded accordingly. And you seem to confuse term fan with fanboy, different words, different meaning. Yes fanboyism is toxic by definition. Also from vortix twitter "thanks for the cheers but it's not the moment to flame naniwa, just feel happy for me! will try my best next game ". DAMN DAT HATE TOWARDS NANIWA, SUCH A BM CUZ HE WANTED TO HANDSHAKE AND GRATULATE FOR GOOD GAMES. OHHH I CAN FEEL THAT HATE.-.-

In tennis both players heads towards middle of the court to gratulate each other, there is no such thing as "loser had a bad day so he choose to either say GG or not". As i said, you can support anyone you want, its yours decision. But accept the fact that your idol is known for BM and do not flame other players only because you are living in kids world without any social rules. It's E-SPORT at highest level, it should be handled professionaly by players. Refusing handshake = BM from naniwa. Accept that and it's end of the discussion.

It hasn't anything to do with rubbing it in his face.... Three things (and I am afraid I'll have to repeat exactly what I said) 1) Naniwa's FC is not the forum to discuss this 2) In my opinion it'd still be preferable if the loser approached the winner if he chose to (especially considering the trash-talk preceding the games) 3) I said that it wasn't straight out BM but maybe insensitive espc. given the circumstances
