Few things before i'm out because i'm really bored explaining things to immature kids. 1. How in the hell players from various countries should know about silly beliefs of other nations? It's INTERNATIONAL tournament, many cultures clashes, and how the F someone from Spain is supposed to know that one does not simply handshake in sweden. And let's be honest here, sweden got some really crap social rules and law, people over there are really cold and not open for others at all (i have family in SWE). 2. As i said already 999x times, it's E-SPORT, supposedly to be at high level. In every competitive sport you handshake/thank for the game. And wtf is "he lost he was sad so he didn't do it", there is always a loser and a winner. But somehow i don't see Nadal heading right away to his room without handshaking Djokovic because he lost. Another thing, if you watched any sports, you would see that players very often hug each other and thanks for the game, especially those with personal beefs. It's a man's world, not teenagers with acne that doesn't understand simple word as sportsmanship. It applies to winners and losers. But yeah, let's add new rule to all upcomming tournaments, that you do not handshake swedes, because it's a BM lol. Let the winner sit in his chair for 10mins, waiting for enemy to decide to either gratulate each other or not. Spewing your hate towards a player in his own fanclub is bad, but generalizing and calling people from sweden "cold and not open for others at all" is incredibly dumb and just causes yourself to look stupid. Apart from your arguments being nonsensical, they're also off topic. If you wanna discuss handshaking in e-sports, I'd recommend you go here http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=412856#1 I feel stupid responding to someone who got very little idea about EU cultures but okay. Swedes IS closed community, very distant and cold. It's a FACT, not my opinnion. Do you actually read some books, world neews, some science articles? Or just sitting at pc 24/h browsing memes? Before you call anyone stupid do your homework beforehand, why are you even talking if you have very little to no knowledge about topic? "Ake Daun, a professor of ethnology at Stockholm University have written a book; Swedish mentality (1989) which is a gold mine for someone interesting in this issue. He has examined how the Swedes are perceived by other nationalities and come up with the following: Swedes are perceived as chilly and distancing. Many of those who responded to the survey say that they have great difficulties to understand the Swedish temperament. The Swedes are also perceived as “socially closed” and “spiritually empty”. And because they are often quiet they are also perceived as smug!". As i said, i have family and friends in sweden, everything is true. If you do some research you will find proper articles about this matter. But hey, it's better to call me incredibly dumb, when you yourself got rough idea around 0. Now go back to watching cats on trololool sites and keep ruining your life instead of educating yourself a bit. Bye. User was temp banned for this post.

Not only do you go over to a player you just beat to look down at him and try to get him to shake your hand, and after them having a history of not liking eachother and being vocal about it.. I am happy naniwa didnt pretend that he is a friend of Vortix just to please all the viewers. Its a rare sight to see progamers walk up to eachother and shake hands, it only happens in foreign tournaments where either the loser feel like shaking hands or the winner is excited about winning and the opponent happens to be a player with a very positive attitude and no bad history between them. Also, i think its kinda cool that naniwa has finally managed to step into the true light of fandom. You are not truely famous in the SC2 esport scene untill you have haters spamming in your fanclub. .. With that said, i am sad that naniwa didnt play as his normal self... and i dont know anything about the ESL computers but i hope naniwa did actually have some trouble with them.. would not be very naniwa-mentality-like to try and blame his loss on something other than himself unless justified. Hopefully he isnt taking this loss too hard and manage to identify what he did wrong in time for his next big tournament ![]()

Hopefully professional players will be more mature and polite in the future because handshaking you opponent after the match is just some of the most insulting BM I ever seen. Hell there should be a rule against it maybe even disqualification from future WCS

Regardless of the person's intent they think it's rude for the winner to initiate the handshake. There is nothing ridiculous about that. Fake-friendly handshake? what world do you live in? seriously it's amazing that some of you are alive...and complaining about the pc is so lol...as if not all the players play on the same type of pc's there...grow up Now for Naniwa's complaint about the pc. If Naniwa has aspergers or something along those lines (as I suspect he does) then his complain means a lot. What many would view as a 'slight' irritant is very impacting for that person. I have aspergers so I can relate with him. People need to be more understanding of others in the future.

Myself, as a non-Swede, would have initiated the handshake purely out of sportsmanship. Maybe Vortix being a Spaniard didn't know what the handshake meant? Also, so sad that Naniwa didn't make it out of the group ![]() Its obvious that Vortix is either very naive or tried to make NaniWa look bad, with all that tension between those two it should be clear to everybody that NaniWa is not in the mood to shake hands with you. Edit: If you honestly dont see this you should learn a bit of social 101 :/

It really saddens me to see all the toxic comments and blows from both fake-fans, anti-fans but also some of the progamers. Like they all jump on the train to kick a man when he is down. But I hope Naniwa will stay away from social media / forums for a while now, so he doesn't have to read all the crap being written. Stay strong Naniwa and fellow true-fans! The time will come when he will rise to the very top!

After this low display of unsporting behaviour, I see no choice but for Karont3 to drop Vortix from their team.
