New bracket, instead of facing Check, Moon gets to face AZKziek. A much much easier opponent. He is currently on same side of the bracket as Check, NaNiwa, SocceR and Fruitdealer, so no MC, MKP, InCa or SEn until finals :D + Show Spoiler [result Moon vs AZKziek] + 2-0 to Moon, he outplayed him sooooo bad. | ||

I really hope he takes the first place at WCG and plays full time sc2 afterwards and starts dominating again .IMO you can already see the genius in Moons play, while it is still unrefined. Oh yes and please sign me up! <3 | ||

I almost feel that Terran would suit him better -- more micro options, more flexible builds, etc. -- but he did start off with Terran before switching to Zerg. Probably liked the fact that he could mass expo like mad, and he really likes being mobile. He'll probably love the new chargelisks and the hydra speed upgrade (even on Hive, lol) as well as the new units coming in from HotS. He's so fond of hydras and ultralisks, it makes me want to cry sometimes when I see him going down those tech routes, even if they're bad, just because he's being stubborn as all get-out about his play-style. He is realllllllly fond of hydras in ZvP; I honestly can't recall a series where he didn't go hydras in that match-up, and he pretty much rode them all the way to second place in his IEM run. If he could and if it weren't pretty much an auto-loss, I'm sure he'd go hydras in ZvT as well. He prefers ultras to broodlords. When he does go broodlords, it's pretty much in preparation to tech switch to ultras, which have greater mobility, but are, omfg, such shitty units. (I actually typically just facepalm whenever I see Zerg players go ultras and consign them to defeat at that point. DRG was right in calling them "ultrash.") Moon rarely ends longer games with broodlords, instead preferring to wtf them into vikings at times to free up supply. >.> Mutas are great for harass -- not so much for straight-up battles. Also, Moon's muta control is actually rather bad; he has a habit of flying them into anti-air quite often, though he did okay with them last night. It's actually kind of funny how he wins games, because his macro isn't that great and his unit control isn't really that great either (lol, you can micro Zerg units?), but he somehow wins! I'm still trying to figure that one out. He's an enigma! (None of this is meant to be a "bash" post of any sort, btw -- I love Moon! -- just some things I've noticed about his play.) | ||
