Oh wow.

Do you guys remember when I said a girlfriend would harm idrA's performance? Everybody laughed at me. A few pages later motbob came up and said exactly the same thing.....

During HSCIII I said that we should hope Socke defeats Goody as idrA is not familiar and would have massive problems with Goody's playstyle. Fortunately Socke won. And what did just happen a few minutes ago?

I wonder when people start to believe in me and call me the greatest prophet since Nostradamus.....

I think it's more likely that IdrA played in XMG to be nice to TaKe, and did not give a single fuck about a $100 tournament. Hence why he went Muta/ling vs Thor/hellion/tank.
I can only hope you will be proven wrong at Anaheim, if not I'll gladly call you Nostradamus

It would be fitting since Nostradamus' predictions were vague and ambiguous and are applied to situations as people see fit. I make the prediction that because IdrA is working out he will at some point in the future have good fortune with something.

The more I watch the metagame between the races change, the more I think IdrA is stuck with the wrong race.

Z right now need to be inventive, sneaky, unexpected with multipronged attacks and raids. While IdrA has excellent multitasking, none of his strengths favor this kind of play. Zerg drops require no micro, so his multitasking is wasted there.. if you think about it the drops are usually just suicide drops that exist to keep the enemy army home.

Terran on the other hand has deadly drops, and with IdrAs awareness, constant scouting and multitasking, banshee harass in his hands would be extremely deadly. He would also be good at handling a mixed MM and tank ball, and stimming only the units he needed to chase down mutas and smaller groups.

Just imagine how deadly Idra would be using ghosts. He was one of the first people to say ghosts would be huge, and now they dominate TvP, and are getting more prominent in TvZ as well.

Inventive, sneaky play goes against everything IdrA has practised and perfected. I feel that going back to T would pay off for IdrA within 2 months, and after that he would be a monster terran.

IdrA would have to apologize for playing that race, though.

IdrA would be a fucking beast as Terran. He should have made the switch at the time morrow did, but from Zerg to Terran.

This was before the race was nerfed to balance. Like, back in the beta + just after release days. The game is entirely different now.

Terran was never balanced in SC2 until the GSL decided to get rid of shit like Jungle Basin and steppes and close spawns.

The rest wasn't really bad, thanks to bunker time nerfs and barrack/stim nerfs.

Now that their early pressure actually requires skill, they are way way more balanced and can't just end games in 4 minutes anymore.

IdrA wouldn't be good switching to Terran...

In BW, (correct me if I'm wrong) but Terran was the macro race that you could be very passive with. IdrA is a passive player, Zerg is a passive race that allows you to macro like a boss (something IdrA likes to do).

Eventually, yes he probably would be on par with other pros, but would it suit his style?

Other than the occasional hellion harass, mech style terran seems to play very passive as well and imo is damn tough to break into a turtling/passive meching terran.

To suit his style, I would venture to say sure why not.
Remember not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult still, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.

You can play macro style with bio, Its very viable .. But like he said.. hes not gonna switch races having put so much time into zerg as is.

Or Idra just lost, and it had nothing to do with his girlfriend. You act like they spend a lot of time together or something, when in reality they probably haven't seen each other since MLG considering they don't even live in the same state. In fact i think she lives in canada
