Just throwing out another two cents. I just don't see how there could be a foreigner more popular than Idra, because it's clear nobody comes close. Whether its threads on TL, stream viewer count, Twitter, whatever. Take the people that don't follow SC2 closely, for example. If there's one player they know, who would it be, most likely? I know it's slightly NA biased, but most of my gaming friends know Idra and they don't even follow the scene (only big occasions like MLG). Hell, even MLG knows this, which is why they play him up more than anyone. Unrelated note, can't wait for IPL2 to start. No Koreans to fear there, would be awesome if Idra took it down. About time he wins some money, anyway

I'm a bit disappointed that MC is in the same group with Tyler and Demuslim. I want to see an Idra vs MC re-re-re-match but I also want Demuslim and Tyler to progress. :/

Well, he got the easiest group again. But hey, he only went 3-2 with the easiest DH group so who knows. His jetlag will be gone, so I'm sure he'll 6-0.

i think idra needs to figure out roaches just dont cut it and start using infestors more, he was doing it very sucessfully before mlg and dreamhack but turned it down for important plays for some reason almost completely avoiding it or just getting them way way too late

Every match he played against MC he attempted some form of strong aggression using roach timing attacks or roach/hydra drops.
In Dreamhack, he attempted to push in and break MC's third with roach/hydra. Even after MC let 2 colossus get snipped by roaches, he still couldn't break it.
In game 2, he tried using a roach burrow timing attack to break MC's late natural that he canceled with early roach/ling and then tried to keep MC off 3 bases, he didn't have the gas to get infestors.
Getting infestors in ZvP means you are going into the late game. You can put 0 pressure on protoss before they take their third.
I wouldn't doubt IdrA thinks MC won't lose a 3+ base macro game regardless of what he makes, simply because infestors are not as great against the deathball + blink as people think when the protoss has good micro.

idra nullifies mcs dt tech, gets a 3rd, while denying mcs and keeps mc on 1 immo...hes up 50 supply all game and loses because mcs micro is average
