He had it comming, i stopped watching his dailies because he was talking in circles too much, repeating himself and taking way too long to get the point across. This, and his lack of knowledge kinda showed in this debate. He's still a kickass shoutcaster though. Idra was debating that the current meta game is imbalanced for zerg. How is saying overlords can be denied by marines, that a wall-in prevents drone scouting, or that spine crawlers take too long to build only after immediately detecting a push convey some sort of indepth knowledge, as if day9 is retarded and doesn't know any of this obvious stuff? It's exactly this sort of narrow line of thinking that cements the fact that Idra won't be the zerg to shift the meta game any time soon, when no one else plays into his make 3 spinecrawlers and 0 attacking units until 3 bases are fully saturated. I hope Idra breaks out in an argument on sotg again though; Not because it provides any relevant insight into balance, but it's definitely entertaining. | ||

Everytime he says something like "Interesting decision", I'll hear: "Fucking retarded decision." I really hope he commentates games between players he considers good, or at least 'not bad'. Of course, that's assuming he won't be speaking his mind. If he's allowed to say what he wants then I hope he commentates every single game. Yes in the IPL he did builds which were all in but he also had really good macro builds in conjuncture with drops that gave him a lead giving him the victory. There were no games where he went "3 Spine crawlers into 3 Hatch". If you go watch his original series against Kiwi in the IPL I think you will see he is the zerg to lead into a good meta game because he showed people how to out play your opponent and what to aim for when doing drops. Plus he is probably one of the few zergs that takes every build and runs it threw a grinder until he seems to have a good grasp of it vs just sticking to one thing. The reason we see him play the way he does at tournaments is because he feels safer that way just like how Tyler has different play for big matches where he seems to make him self to safe. | ||

He's commenting on your statement about "no one else plays into his make 3 spinecrawlers and 0 attacking units until 3 bases are fully saturated". He is calling you retarded and asking when was the last Idra game you watched because Idra doesn't play that way. You made a comment on Idra's play style. Idra does not play like that, as is obvious if you've watched a recent Idra game. It has nothing to do with his debate on SotG. | ||
