As long as his opponents play safe and watch out for cheese then free wins for them. Well I haven't been able to watch (fucking work :D). But if it's a lot of zvp I am not to surprised and also it's hard to do consistently good on ladder all the time. Everybody, no matter how good you are have those days where you just lose a ton. I'm having mad fun at my job and I'm not a progamer, it's called doing somethign you enjoy and idra clearly is not enjoying it right now. Idra has said that progaming is the best job you can have and players should remember that if they think their job is rough My answer: We'll see about that, sure demuslim gained soiem fame though that but a lot o people will get to see how entertaining his stream is and stay with it. there are a lot of other entertaining streams also, and demuslims stream has always been like that and still he got like max 4000 viewers. Suddenly viewer count jumped to 10000 Maybe you're right, but if he really enjoys it, he's not showing it. On demuslim.. it's quite simple, it's called exposure. A lot of the 10k people he's getting lately would have never tuned in without the april incidents and would have never known how good is stream is. Now that he's got the exposure, demuslim has ALL the tools to keep people watching. He's entertaining, funny and witty, he wins games, he plays just as good while commentating, he explains his thought process all the time, he does QnAs, watches replays.. he does it all.

Edit: Ironically I clicked this thread because it was at the top of the fan club threads currently. Also finally clicked his stream again, but it was difficult and let me explain why. I used to love his stream, I used to be one of the fans that tried my best to get him to 20k viewers, I'd open multiple windows, turn on laptop, what ever to support him when he needed it. I thought I owed it to him for giving me such great entertainment and giving it his best. Through it all, he'd really give me heart ache as time went on with his attitude. He'd leave games he could have won, he could have made much more entertaining, etc, and it got to the point where if it wasn't a guaranteed win from the get go, he'd have that itchy finger to drop the game and it became annoying to hold my breath not that the game would be good but that he wouldn't leave. The last straw for me was the game vs his team mate puma in an mlg where as soon as Puma's army stepped on creep he left the game..This was around the time where I really had hope he was turning around his attitude, he was going back to the monster he was when he first came into mlg's and dominated wanting to only play the best and wanting nothing else but first place. He came off of a lot of highlights then, and it was one of those matches people really were biting their nails over, but that was unreal that he just left as soon as the enemy steps on creep when he was caught off guard. Now that, coupled with rising stars like Stephano who really made a game of everything even when he was on the losing end, then Scarlett showing that even on a bad loosing end with one good engagement she could come back and show her worth and take the win. I watch Demuslims stream not just because he's a nice guy and a fast player that seems incredible at multi tasking and analyzing his mistakes, looking over what could have gone wrong and why instead of just whisking it away to imbalance, but mainly because he actually plays out his games. It's just too much to watch long drawn out games of Idra where you're really rooting for em only for him to leave out of no where when his frustration rises to a certain level, whats the point in getting so attached anymore? If he wants more viewers, the least he can do is give them something to view and stick it out. It's just not interesting if it's a sure fire win for him or nothing. It's interesting when it's close and/or nail biting but that is when more often than not, if not always, he'll ditch the game, all that excitement thrown out the window, back to splitting his workers collecting minerals. It just doesn't happen with others and then it made me think to imagine if he actually made it to the finals with that attitude how boring the finals would be. Imagine if Naniwa had left when he saw those Ultra's pop out instead of playing it out, like he said himself since even though he was caught so off guard it was too early to leave and he's seen this before so why not try something. Edit 2: I wrote all of this not to rag on him or his fanclub, but because I genuinely miss the dominating Idra I believed in when I first saw him from when Wings of Liberty was in beta and on. I really want to believe in him again and I want to follow him, it may have been him that got me into following these streams in the first place. He's my origin and I sincerely want him to do well, but I firmly believe it is in the attitude and leaving the games that is his biggest handicap in terms of not having the viewers he once had. He may not become the best over night, but just give a show in every game you play and the fans will stay. Demuslim is certainly not the best, but he sticks out his games, I want to watch Idra fight to the end! Then I'd watch em all day if I could!

Streams are interesting in the sense that I believe people click on the one with the most views because they assume the most interesting thing is going on there. At least that is the way I do it most of the time because I don't keep up with what is the hottest thing at the moment. I don't really know where to look for that as there's so much news and things going on at the same time it seems like. he and IdrA traded BM a couple weeks ago and it made front page of reddit a few times

Man I do miss his music, forgot I always enjoyed his taste in music when it's not country. Makes me want to leave his stream open just to hear the playlist, and fits the fast pace of the game so well.

Idra is to well known and is way to valuable for EG to not want him. BM or not he has a good following and I would be shocked if they didn't renew his contract.
