Capoch is very good player, best player in argentina - I was more going on the line that they have bm'd each other for a long time.
Like if Idra meets Avilo or Cruncher
I.e It's standard Idra BM

That's not what I said, but for idra's standards, he'll never be happy with anything less than that. Shit I'm not sure he would be happy at 4th behind stephano, naniwa and demuslim or huk.
The real question is, why would you do something that's pissing you off for more than 8 hours day? I sure as hell would leave my job if I was not happy with it. Obviously, a 15 yo won't grasp that logic... BUT HE MAKES SO MUCH MONEY!!!??!!!!
Money is not everything and it's short term money if his results keep dropping and his fanbase keeps dropping, EG won't pay him top money forever... just compare his stream numbers, demuslim has twice the viewers idra has most of the time.
Some pros will be happy just playing at the pro level and having the occasional good run, does not seem to be the case for Idra. So, why keep doing something that's pissing you off and probably affecting your overall mood if you can't seem to reach the point that would make you happy? Edit: he loses nothing by switching to Terran, he's already not satisfied with his results.
If you want to compare it to real life, just take an high school teacher teaching 12-13 year olds, totally unhappy with it. Before giving up you might as well try switching to older students, if you still can't deal with it, time to move on. Basic example, but still.

He would be insane to quit EG. If I were him I'd quit progaming, go back to school and still do stuff for EG. He makes easily 2k a month, half of that would still pay for a very generous student life.

The real question is, why would you do something that's pissing you off for more than 8 hours day? -Cos it still is better job than 99% of real lifes jobs My answer: 15 year old logic. I'm having mad fun at my job and I'm not a progamer, it's called doing somethign you enjoy and idra clearly is not enjoying it right now.

i hope he manages to hold on until after LoTV when all balance changes have pretty much happened and then take a good long look at the game and decide if he wants to play

Idra has said that progaming is the best job you can have and players should remember that if they think their job is rough
My answer: We'll see about that, sure demuslim gained soiem fame though that but a lot o people will get to see how entertaining his stream is and stay with it.
there are a lot of other entertaining streams also, and demuslims stream has always been like that and still he got like max 4000 viewers. Suddenly viewer count jumped to 10000

While IdrA was commenting the Dreamhack games yesterday, there was a lot of downtime. He answered some Raidcall questions and he said some interesting things. (I'm paraphrasing a lot, no VODs so can't go back and verify) In general, he said he was not happy with his performance, but was not considering retiring. He said progaming was a really good job and that it had allowed him to save enough money for college if that is something he decided to do in the future.
Regarding DeMusliM's stream success, sure, the recent events surrounding him contributes to that, but he also provides a much better stream experience than IdrA in general. 1) He comments/goes over replays, and 2) he wins. Greg doesn't seem to be able to accomplish those two things at once, and it feels like on bad days (like today), he can't manage either.
It's easy to ignore poor ladder performance and say "oh it doesn't matter", but I really hope IdrA can make it into Shoutcraft America. It seems like nobody can tank his ranking as well as him sometimes. He is currently ranked 23rd. After you remove people that aren't eligible, he'd probably make it him. Still, I expect they will just use the ladder ranking to seed, so Greg will probably get matched against a really good player. I'm not sure I see him make a deep run.
Sometimes I can't understand Greg's thought process on ladder. I think he lost 4 games in a row to Goswser.By Greg's standard, Goswser is really cheesy - why would you ever go hatch first against him? Maybe it's a mind game thing? IdrA thinks he wont get cheesed by the same player twice in a row, so he decides to go hatch first again?
I'm hoping we'll see a different level of play when he starts playing in actual tournaments. I think both upcoming tournaments will be very difficult.

have you considered he goes hatch first knowing hell get cheesed to practice defense?
if you watch koreans ZvZ they literally either 15 hatch or 10 pool 100% of the games with the odd 14 pool thrown in to shock and awe everyone
theoretically it is possible to defend anything with a 15 hatch except possibly 6 pool + drone pull

He's not a good player. I guarantee he's going to get crushed in WCS NA. I would be shocked if he stayed in premier league for longer then his first 2 series. As long as his opponents play safe and watch out for cheese then free wins for them.

Well I haven't been able to watch (fucking work :D). But if it's a lot of zvp I am not to surprised and also it's hard to do consistently good on ladder all the time. Everybody, no matter how good you are have those days where you just lose a ton. I hate those days to
