i ahvent watched all of them but all the ZvPs ive seen the P jsut rolls through the Zerg with good forcefields Ret, DRG and Violet have all won at least one ZvP. agaisnt notable tosses? because i saw ret getting knocked out by HuK, DRG barely beating Naniwa with a cheese while blindly nexus-firsts for some dumb reason and i actually havent seen Violets game pretty mcuh at all but im fairly sure he hasnt faced Oz or HuK not really sure what other tosses are at the tourney and from waht i saw of G1 Naniwa VS DRG i dont get what Naniwa was aiming for he did some wierd stalker only no sentry play and completely missed where DRGs army was and then somehow just completely lost all his forces out on the map or something? i dont get why but seemed like he didnt make one sentry all game Cute, i do believe Ret beat SaSe, you know the guy Idra just lost to in the NASL. Think first before you burn other players. arent NASL games like 3 weeks old? and didnt he then have to p[lay cross server sinc ehed be in Korea?

Oz and Nestea are pretty tough competition and it was a stacked tournament. I bet if Idra had Huk's bracket draw he would have gotten much farther. I'm sorry, but if Idra can't beat guys like Oz, Alive, Taeja, Seth, Nestea (while he's slumping) how is he ever going to win any notable future tournaments. Don't get me wrong all those guys are very good, but the problem is that there are about 64 of them in the GSL and and a few top foreigners like Kas, Stephano, NaNiwa and so on. Competitive SC2 has trimmed the fat so to speak. Gone are the Bit by Bit, Makaprime, SlayersLegalMind...guys like them just couldn't keep up and are replaced by the likes of MMA, Leenock, DRG. The quality of players has improved drastically over the past year and more of them are attending foreign tournaments as evident by this current mlg, IEM championship, Iron Squid. I mean if you look at those player pools, do you really think Idra has a chance of making the finals. I'm not writing to insult Idra, I think he's very good but unfortunately just not good enough relative to the current competition. Simple: By not slumping. He may be in a slump or he may not, only time will tell. Actually, time already did tell. A year ago. Yes, between that period he apparently just won an Asus ROG invitational and an IEM and placed pretty high in alot of MLGs. Gosh really, people only remember the very recent cups... Because only recent cups with koreans matter. pre- korean MLGs, IEMs, whatever are just dry farts. Thanks for the laugh, guy above me.
Wait, what? Alright, we can disregard some of his MLG's. But IEM China was a dry fart? His run at Orlando was bad? Top 8 at providence? lol. As you say, thanks for the laugh.

He definitely has what it takes to beat MVP (if MVP doesn't get sudden inspiration and decide to become the best player in the world again), Thorzain and Symbol (Symbol looks decent @ ZvZ tbh). Yeah MVP is really nowhere near top anymore, wouldn't be at all surprised to see Idra take him out. It does not do to underestimate MVP after a few less than amazing results tbh. Or to assume a loss vs MC. I hope they play their best tbh and that IdrA does too. Going to be some great matches.
NB: I said Idra has what it takes to beat MVP, not he WILL beat MVP.

NASL matches are a few days old, and no considering both SaSe and Idra were in Korea.

This pretty accurately surmises my feelings. =/

@ NASTL, yep, good, old Idra:D
|
Idra is a good player
Its just that when he thinks the game is lost he just leaves
atleast try and finish it out. Your opponent can always make mistakes to put you back ahead
|
IdrA spotted on the Dr.Pepper free stream with his girl! I thought they broke up... guess not! Dun dun dunnnnn
|
|
I can imagine that he appreciates her company after having spent months in a small apartment with only men.
Also she's not a SC2 player, so he won't get mad at her for sucking.
|
Idra needs to watch that final DRG vs Parting game. If Parting can make mistakes like that every once in a while and lose a game, then you know that most of the players Idra plays against can as well.

No one said, that Sheth played Sase. Ret defeated Sase in MLG Winter Arena.

ofc, since we all know that tournament results immediately and completely reflect the relative skill of players.
so... goody > nestea.
