So I'm taking a Comparative Virology; my first discussion section, I have this Indian (hindu indian, not native american Indian) for the TA (he's just substituting for this week). He turns on the power point, and starts talking about himself, introducing himself. He talks about how he likes Astronomy (despite getting a PhD in Virulogy), and how Linkin Park is his favorite band (wait, it gets better). Then on one of the slides. FUCKING GIRLS GENERATION, is on it. He's like "yeah, I have a couple Korean friends working in lab, and they told me not to get into Kpop; at first I had no idea what kpop was, so I youtube'd it, I fucking love it" Then while on that powerpoint, a student arriving late walked in, and just saw the powerpoint, and was like "uhhh, am I in the right class?"; Anyways, the TA goes on about how he likes Jessica, and that she's from the US (total waifu-tier lulz were had). Then he talks about how he likes Amber in f(x), Suju, and Shinee, and he mentions how he started listening to Rania; then he asks if anyone else in the class liked kpop. *slightly raised my hand out of embarrassment*; Then he starts talking about jpop, and Perfume, and then he asks "does anyone know about the group Perfume?", and again *slightly raise my hand*. Everyone stares at me. Best fucking TA ever; shit was so hilarious. | ||
