At least in the case of the jpop I've been exposed to, nearly all of it has a very distinct sound where it sounds almost hyperactive. I get that using jpop as a description isn't very good, but most of us get what he's going at.

That being said I've got my own picks in japanese music.

I guess I just don't get it then because if you're going by "hyperactive" the only song I can think of is Pon Pon Pon, the rest of the shit I've been exposed to has a lot of different moods and or sounds like the rest of the pop music I've been exposed to. The only other trait I can really think of is that pop (genre, not popularity) tends to have a lot of synth in it.

The song by Ali is really great... Tried to get into music bank today but it was chaos. If you wonder why Sistar had no fanchants today its because no sistarfans got in at all... Quite strange as they won!

Afaik most of original fans never liked her anyway. She came in stole the spotlight for a while then got kicked out. Girls are scary.

Dude I'm not a hater, I'm a T-ara fan too. I'm getting this off dudes who translate articles (netizenbuzz) with comments and T-ara articles are always filled with "X is a bully". In addition all my Korean friends pretty much affirm that this is the perception in Korea now.

I think it's just a case of the vocal minority. I've heard shit like that aswell. I thin we will for sure get a definite answer when they comeback in korea and we can see album sales.

haha that's the issue here then, if you take netizen's comments seriusly then I feel bad for you, everyone knows they are everything bad in the kpop comunity, they are basically 15 year old trolls that spend all day looking for something to trash on, as soon as a small incident happens they will bring all their shitstorm and make it look 10 times worse.

The only reason international fans read netizen commets is to get a laugh, as most of the time they are retarded/funny.

If what your friends told you was true, then sexy love would never have sold as good as it did, T-ara was even the best selling group in 2012 in korea.
