"Gee" like many other people was my gateway drug, but I soon discovered T-ara afterwards. I really like their ballads, especially "Cry Cry ballad version", "Don't leave me Alone", and "Love All." Is there other songs like this that you guys recommend, even if not by T-ara?

Could you give me the names of the groups who sing these songs too? Or are they all from T-ara?
All T-ara, some are solos though or duets. And for new stuff I use k2nblog and for old 4shared or just google
Gonna plug this here since it's korean and free http://jinbothesuperfreak.bandcamp.com/ he released an album named KRNB in 2012 it's pretty good if you like that RnB that is more about R and less about B. These are remix of popular songs of old and new artists, they are recomposed rearranged and they are are pretty cool so check it out.
Cool. Thanks for the advice! Now back to GEE GEE GEE or I guess I could check out their new IGAB song...ehh GEE GEE GEE it is
But in all seriousness, are there any other singers in groups or groups who put out songs with good vocals? I have some stuff from Taeyeon, IU, Ailee, and Kwill? Are there any other kpop idols who are also actually really good singers too? Or any songs with just sick instrumentals or just really catchy, I also like that stuff too. I guess i'll give some examples. 2AM "I wonder if you hurt like me", IU "Good Day", "Haru Haru" Big Bang, "Alone" Sistar (actually I can't decide whether some of the recent songs I've heard of Sistar I just really like their vocals or it's just really catchy) , and "Only One" Boa etc.
I don't really have a way to discover new or older kpop songs that I don't know about besides listening to Seoul FM radio, and writing down songs that really catch my ear.
Edit: I just looked through the playlist. It has a lot of songs I like so I created a grooveshark account and added the playlist. Is grooveshark mostly for creating your own playlists of songs? I mostly either use my own itunes, pandora, or seoul.fm I guess i don't really see the purpose of using grooveshark. Can someone who uses grooveshark a lot enlighten me?

Well the advantage of using grooveshark is that its free and you can find pretty much any song from any genre, its easy to create, share and search for different types of playlists

Noel and Urban Zakapa are two of my favorite groups right now. Their live stuff is ridiculously good too, esp Noel's.
ok I'm rly rly sorry for asking this coz I remember that someone asked for this not that long ago, but I was talking about some cool MV's with a friend and the one that starts from the guy POV that looks like the girl is a bitch and then starts what really happened, came to my mind
Can someone help me? I tried to use the search function from TL but I had no idea what to search for, obviously I didn't found it. And can someone suggest others mvs with good or surprising stories?
Not coming empty handed, liked the MV and liked the song
Bebe Mignon is easily one of the least talked about groups in the Kballad scene while being one of the best female ballad groups. they have 1 mini album, a single and a OST appearance for a total of 5 original songs which is a crime since they are amazing
bebe mignon is pretty good, but if they didnt collab with 4men like 2 years ago I would've never heard of them. I remember they also had a fantastic ost track for a really popular drama, I can't recall the exact one off the top of my head. It's one that everyone will recognize though.
mad soul child, yozoh, zia, bae dahae, yeon ji, byul, and lyn are all fantastic, 'newer', relatively unknown artists that have good ballad tracks. If you're into ballads and already know the ones I mentioned, park hyoshin, the one, yim jaebeom, lee seungchul, yangpa, hwayobi, big mama soul, kim bumsoo are all part of an older generation of ballad singers but are all excellent vocalists.
navi, jang hyejin, gummy and gavy nj are all extremely underrated imo.
when I have time I'll make a post with good performances from ballad singers.

Noel is a 4 man ballad group, so solid vocals but mostly sad songs XD
aaaaand below the cut will be a lot more stuff from about 2008-2013?
Baek Ji Young is queen of ballads... some upbeat from her as well but I prefer her slow songs (Like Being Hit By A Bullet, That Woman, Hate, Don't Forget Me). Seo In Young has a lot of great ballads. She also has upbeat songs but I find them a bit try hard (Written As Love Sung As Pain, Wash, ANYMORE). 8Eight is made of 2 guys and 1 girl, 1 of the guys raps haha (I Don't Have a Heart, Goodbye My Love, Covering Those Lips). Taeyang in Big Bang has released some stuff. Well, they ALL have solo songs. (Seungri - What Can I Do, is catchy) Brown Eyed Girls have a lot of great solo (Narsha, Gain, and finally Jea) and group songs (...Cleansing Cream is a ballad, Abracadabra is very catchy, oldie but goodie? L.O.V.E). Davichi as well (Don't Say Goodbye, 8282, Time Please Stop). Also, Junsu (from JYJ) - Love is like a Snowflake !!!!!!!!!! Some other ballads are Taeyeon - Miss you like crazy (not sure if you have this), SNSD - Star Star Star, Epik High - 1 Minute 1 Second (OMG EPIK HIGH), Park Bom - You & I
Random catchy (and hopefully not revolting) songs... Psy - Passionate Goodbye, GDragon - Hello, Park Myung Soo & Gdragon - I Cheated, SNSD - Trick, SNSD - Bad Girl (note: this is in Japanese....but their Japanese releases are pretty good! XDDD), Sistar - Loving U, Sistar - So Cool, Beast - Fiction, After School - Flashback, Sung Shi Kyung - I'm Okay, SHINee - Sherlock, GD & TOP - High High, Kara - Lupin, Kara - Pandora, 2PM - Hands Up, Hyuna - Change, IU - End of Day, Block B - NanRiNa, T-ara & Supernova - TTL, Park Myung Soo & Jessica - Cold Noodles/Naengmyun, 2NE1 - I'm The Best, SNSD - Genie, Son Dam Bi - Crazy, Hyori - U Go Girl, Miss A - Bad Girl Good Girl, Baek Ji Young - My Ear's Candy, 2PM - I'll Be Back, SHINee - Replay, Kim Tae Woo - Love Rain, CN Blue - Intuition.
...Well that spiraled out of control in no time LOL! These hopefully help you branch out into kpop.... be careful with songs from 2008 and 2009. There were many songs released with strange engrish (although CN Blue - Intuition is kind of weird but is from mid 2011 hehe), such as T-ara - YaYaYa. Catchy instrumental, but what are they saying...? I have no idea, which is disappointing.
In regards to Sistar, there is Hyorin (did a lot of covers on Immortal Song 2) and Soyou who can sing well... and SNSD has Taeyeon, Seohyun, Jessica, Tiffany, and Sunny.... at least that's how I justify why I listen to their songs a lot :D

Oops I meant to say I really liked the solo stuff by Taeyeon from SNSD, not taeyang from Big Bang XD I like Taeyang too, but Taeyeon...is what you call it? one of my biases lol
I have heard and/or own some of the songs you mentioned, but I'll make sure to go through all of them. I'll make sure to be careful! But yes I really liked the song by Epik High. So good
But yes, thanks a lot for all the songs mentioned. I definitely appreciate all the help and any more stuff people want to talk about. That's to everyone who have contributed with their suggestions, I'll make sure to check them all out! I have been getting into kpop over the last couple of months, but I'm definitely still new to the ballad scene. I just heard some ballad versions of songs and I almost always preferred the ballad ones, especially the T-ara ones (or I'm biased, since their ballads are one of the first that got me into ballads) and I really liked some of the solo stuff by different artists, and a lot of them seem to be OST of different dramas but I don't really watch dramas (yet..) so I don't have much exposure to them otherwise by stumbling onto them.
