Quick thoughts are that they're very good live, their performances had great energy, and I was a little surprised to realize that I enjoyed all of the songs they performed. Not a super elaborate concert, but very fun and entertaining. Oh, and Bom's vocals were quite impressive and her playfulness on stage made her stand out.
Glad to see Bom snapped out of it. She seemed very laid back and quiet at the NJ concert. It almost looked like she was depressed or something. Maybe it was still the jet lag.
Was the venue packed or were there empty areas? Everything start on time?

And while I'm at it, Kara's perfs were really strong. They definitly convinced me their comeback is a solid one.
For some reason we don't see a lot of Chorong posted here, so I guess I'm gonna have to set an example! + Show Spoiler +
Also, just wanted to share 2 songs I really like at the moment (warning: most likely reposts!) + Show Spoiler +
I really like the contrast between their voices.
and
chorong's my second fav aft eunji <3 thks for sharing!
You could have shown your superiority if you guys hadn't have failed getting into that google chat with them.
Also determining the # of people in an area always seems tough but I don't think thats 5000, I wouldn't be suprised if it was double that number in fact. Actually is that performance from his concert on the 11th? If so then apparently that was a sold out show with about 30000 people.
I never used Twitter, until I discovered it was SelcaCentral™ for idols. And then when I discovered Crayon Pop my usage of it increased by 1000%. Keep relaying those pics!

Post pics/vids! Would love to see how that concert compared to the one in NJ.
Other than her You & I performance, I do remember Bom being really lackluster at NJ

Sorry to hear that she was out of it at NJ. She was very bubbly and was being very cute on stage. She's not my favorite member, but I felt she stood out in this show. Her singing was great, she had lots of funny cute moments (i.e. putting her arm around Minzy and being cheek-to-cheek while Minzy was singing one of her parts, bouncing around on an inflating slide and playing with a giant inflatable diamond ring, forgetting to come back onstage at one point to bow to the audience, etc.), and just seemed like she was having the most fun.
The venue looked packed to me. The crowd outside before and after also made me feel that they sold it out or came quite close. The show was pretty on time as far as concerts go. Was slated to begin at 8:00 p.m., and I think they actually started around 8:15 - 8:30. Hard to tell because the crowd was having fun singing and dancing to the music videos they were playing beforehand on a huge screen while waiting.

so hot in person? Alot of people refuse to believe me, but it is true
Sorry, didn't really have the quality of seats or equipment good enough to make up for the former to take good videos/pics. I tried, but all that came out were flares from the stage lights and really small blurry 2NE1 members. I thought they did a pretty good job of stage design.
I only saw them from a distance and on the big screen, but they look pretty much how they look when I've seen them on Youtube performances. I wouldn't call them hot, but they're attractive in their own ways and definitely not ugly or unattractive.

Gangnam style has been embraced by the gay Swedish youth!
Make it stop....Make it stop... :'( As awesome as that would be to participate in that... Gangnam Style needs to die already. Too mainstream. My hipster senses are overloaded

The hell kind of attitude is that? Don't we want Kpop to become mainstream? I thought there was a reason why we keep trying to spread the love
edit: If it not being hipster enough is the issue, you can never kill the fact that we were all hipsters before it became popular if that was the case, people would look up to us => not a problem
Can you guys stop using the term hipster for fuck sake. Its not something you should aspire to be, and you never will be by listening to kpop, known or not.

Yes, and no. I'd like it to become mainstream so I have more people to talk about kpop with... But at the same time, I don't want it to become mainstream because I hate people who listen to asian pop solely for the visuals. I feel like if it become popular, most of the new fanbase would be just that. Also, hearing people try to sing the songs in butchered Korean irks me
But kpop will never become really mainstream because 2NE1 (i actually kinda hope they become mainstream so they perform and promote here moar) is really the only group that has market value in America due to their style of music being the most similar to the 'popular' music in here today
