Your looking at the end result and stating it as causation for why the end result actually happened. Sure it's only a benefit that she has such a wide range of exposure but you don't start out with that. Like vogrim said earlier the causation of her success is her face being considered ideal and her being aegyo as fuck.

I don't know what is considered "attractive" by korean standards~ So you're probably right.
But as far as her range of exposure, I'm sure she's a great actress, not just because of her looks. And upon becoming successful actress, her success just snowballed into her current income.

This isn't a chicken or egg situation, the reason she got in snsd and thereby dramas was because of her looks. She gets the endorsements because she is pretty, you think Hyoyeon is raking in millions of dollars in endorsements and swimming in drama offers?

I think it's too simple to just say she got into dramas because of her looks.... There are plenty of good looking girls out there, she clearly showed skills in her audition. Definitely a combination of looks + skills, got her to the point of mass exposure.
