1) i would calmly drop whatever i was doing. whatever i was carrying.

2) i would bust out my 9mm. (SIG sauer p226) and fire three shots into the air.

3) i would be like: "everyone back the fuck up!"

4) i would calmly ask the idol if she was alright, needed assistance, or required any medical attention.

5) i would calmly explain to the cops that i am not a threat, and in fact am just a concerned citizen.

6) after a long argument with the cops, leading to a dramatic ten-minute shoot-out, i would be riddled with bullets right in front of the idol.

7) i would gasp out my bleeding, dying breaths, and once again, calmly ask the idol if she was alright, needed assistance, or required any medical attention.

8) she would swoon and instantly fall in love because i'm so brave, and then express her undying love. however, i would already be dead. rain would start falling and she would let out a long "NOOOOOOO!!!!!"

9) at my funeral, she would give an impassioned speech that would inspire the Mayor to launch an investigation to the police, leading to over 17 indictments.

10) i, not actually dead, but just in Wit-Pro (witness protection), would read about it in the newspapers. they would call me a hero. then i'd turn away, put on my sunglasses and walk out of the Paris cafe and onto the street. the idol would meet me outside the cafe and we would have like 100 babies or some shit. que the White-Snake and the credits. GG

Because realistically, you will never ever get the chance to be that close to them or be able to speak to them off-air. Since those other fans are already spazzing out, would you say "fuck it" and join? I assume in that situation you don't have the option of formally greeting them and acting in a calm and orderly fashion. I mean you could but you wouldn't get close nor would you get noticed.

I saw everyone arrive at the airport at SM Town LA in May (granted we knew they were going to be there) after seeing them, it wasn't anything like, "omg, I finally saw them, my life is complete" type of feeling. It was more of, I just lived a fancam in real life. I've seen them online so often that it wasn't that of a big deal.

However, if it was an idol by themselves, rather than a group of people bombarding them, I would take the opportunity to at least say hi and if they weren't busy ask for an autograph. Perhaps a more personal meeting rather than an unorganized group one.

Though getting a fancam and a lot of YouTube hits sounds fun. My friend Billy had this amazing one where he kept saying "I love your hair Tiffany!" and she replied with a "Thank you." However, things turned for the worse and he said, "I LOVE YOUR FACE!" So now he's that fan who said, I love your face to Tiffany. Also being able to look at fantaken photos and say that you were there is pretty cool.

I digress, I guess I would say no just because it's not that satisfying. I would only take the opportunity if I happened upon them on the street without the crazy people, lol.

If there was 0 chance of me getting to meet them, I'd just watch from a distance. No reason to freak the fuck out if nothing will come of it. If she looked like she was going to stop and do fan stuff and I had something to sign or anything like that, I'd probably walk up and see if I could get an autograph.

For example, I once saw Jack Nicholson on the street when I was at Vail. We were approaching one another and I did a double take, then waved at him. He waved back and we went along our way. I tried not to take time out of his day, because he didn't look like he wanted to be bothered. They're just people, even if they get recognized by someone they don't know, so treat them as such. Super simple stuff.
