I get where you're coming from (and thankfully you're not one of the people who are dicks about other people liking the music they like ^^) but you can't just wish that someone admits that a group--whose music they find bad for various reasons--is "good" because of all the implications said admission carries. Respectable sure, as he said. Respect for popularity and respect for groups in general is important. But "good" is up to the individual. LOL PULSELOL. The way you wrote it just made it hilarious. I come from a very broad range of music, listening to countless genres and playing many instruments myself. Kpop is something more than just a song though. I always viewed kpop as 30% song, 30% visuals, 40% personality. The way Korea have avoided the collapse of the music industry was by creating idols that could be used for advertising. I think it is a much more social and interactive experience than any other music industry, and i could say now that depending on who brings out the track can influence how you like it or not....say for instance that guy above me probably hates every 2NE1 song before it comes out, but if his fav group sang it, well it would be a different story. So i guess no, because Kpop, to me at least, is more than the song itself, but the personality and visuals as well... | ||
