Ok, first up, let's get the obvious out of the way, Nicole looks absolutely stunning in this Music Video. It's actually mind boggling. The perfect mix of cute, beautiful, elegant, refined, sexy and alluring. The PERFECT mix. It could have not been done any better. So big props to the makeup artists, the costume designers, Nicole and the cameraman and directors for those absolute gorgeous shots of her. Now on to actual analysis of every scenes. The first guy in the opening shot, I do not know who he is but he looks pretty cool, I like what he's wearing. I like the kind of confused, distressed yet relaxed looked he has on his face. Those first few seconds start off great, they don't set you up for anything in particular, the music isn't blaring, there's no weird sounds going on yet, the atmosphere is calm and only tense if you know what is about to happen. Great first few seconds. Then it jumps to a guy who appears to have blue hair, a smirk on his face and an interesting shirt, ok, I can get with that, you're showing me who's going to be in the MV. I would have liked a more personal introduction to the guys, because to me this is my first time "meeting them" and at first they just show them one after the other extremely fast, no unique setting or emotion for each, that's kind of lacking in my opinion but in today's world of fast paced and flashy music video it's kind of a given and it's expected to be honest. Third guy gets his one second intro, he has an extremely weird pointy face with blonde hair and girlish looks, kkk, please get him out of the screen now, seen enough. Some guy with red hair in front of a window that look like it could belong in a church. Interesting, maybe a rebel going up against the establishment as portrayed by the devilish red hair and being inside a church ? We'll have to see. He could have picked a better jacket to get his rebel on to be honest because that one looks like he had a fight with a tiger or something... Now some people are doing splits in tight girl paints with ugly sneakers, uhm, what is this... Oh okay that's the group, they're showing the group together, to create unity and camaraderie and those splits looking movement were possibly the beginning of a dance routine. How original! Some guy with pale blue hair who seems to better ensure wether he's been casted for the Jersey Shore or to play in a emo/rock/metal band from Sweden is trying to grab me and feel my face through the screen. DO NOT WANT. Nicole appears. I like her reveal. Beautiful shot of her face, showcases her features perfectly. Beautiful nice long blonde hair. Heavy mascara, small delicate lips. Perfectly shaped nose and round pinch-able cheeks. Serious yet alluring look on her face and it immediately cuts away and the song drops: "YYOO!!" someone shouts, creating hype, and a sense of action. Whatever is going to happen, it's happening now. Extremely great scene to set everything off. People are dancing around doing awkward movements. Expected. A sweet delicate little hand touches the first guy's decent looking jacket. At this point it is still unknown who's hand that is as nothing but the blur of a feminine silhouette is seen in the background. However with years of training under my belt I'm able to tell it is none other than Jung Nicole, the famous American born South Korean rapper/singer member of sensational girl group KARA. Her hand is being put in front of cool guy's face, which cool guy, apparently not one for games, immediately grabs, perhaps shocked. More weird looking people in ugly clothes dancing that I do not care about. Nicole gently taps cool guy and leaves him without saying anything to him. Interesting. Interesting tension and dynamic between those two, I'm interested to find out more. Tell me about them, their relationship, their story. The shot of Nicole moving away from cool guy is incredible. The way the camera pans down to her feet and the bottom of her beautiful dress as the chorus begins is perfect. Props to you director, that was really well executed. Also got to see a part of Nicole's body that is not often shown. Her small and feminine yet hard working feet. Cool guy looks perplexed as Nicole laves him. Why is he perplexed ? Why did she leave ? Why didn't he follow her ? I want to know more. More dancing, apparently they are trying to clean the floor or something... Nicole appears once more in what appears to be a house/mansion setting. Empty, vague and devoid of life white walls, contrasted by quite an ugly window design and a fancy looking chandelier. This time it looks as if Nicole has even more mascara on, possibly significating that she "means business" or that she's trying to be alluring. She's also sporting a beautiful and sexy white dress that reveals her perfectly sculpted frame. She approaches a guy with a mohawk of multiple colors, some kind of chain, a grey jacket and suit pants over a white tank top or t-shirt. That guy looks like trouble. What kind of persons wears a jacket over a tank top with a chain on and a multi-colored mohawk ? he has earrings too... As Nicole pass by him, either totally ignoring him or simply not noticing him, he grabs her violently by the arm and pulls her towards him. Gangster guy looks at Nicole deep in her eyes and she is seen putting an arm around his neck or on his shoulder, a sign of comfort, or maybe she's trying to push him away ? Yes, I would like it if she was pushing him away, that guy is trouble... People are moving their asses back and forth in cow colored washed up girls pants full of holes... Standard. Nicole's hand is being grabbed, possibly by gangster guy. Yup, it's gangster guy, fffuuucckkkk get away from her. Arg now he's touching her face and she smirks, she likes this. She likes gangster guy, you can tell from that smirk that some strong energy is going on between these two, the attraction seems strong and purely sexual. The guys in the washed up pants who are possibly dancing at a gay bar are now snapping their fingers and spinning around... Nicole appears in a poorly lit setting. She has a really nice skin colored dress on with a big necklace piece and less eye makeup on than she did earlier. She could possibly in a club as some kinds of light sticks appears on the screen as she passes by them. On the other side of said tubes is a guy with black hair and a red jacket, he looks well dressed, he's alone just standing there. What is he there for, what is this place ? What happened with cool guy and gangster guy ? Nicole smiles at this classy-emo looking guy while walking behind the light tubes. People are still dancing hard in that gay bar. Rebel guy is still in the church by himself. Rebel guy could potentially be the same as gangster guy. Nicole approaches classy-emo, she tilts her heas while looking at him, I'm not sure why. It could be to have a better look at him. It could be so that he has a better look at her. She looks serious and curious. She looks intrigued by classy-emo guy, probably wondering why he has that stupid haircut on when he would leak great without it. In the meantime, the dancing crew are again wiping the floors in the bar. Nicole and classy-emo are now posing for the camera as if they are being filmed or photographed for an ad campaign, maybe something fashion related given their good looking attire and the dark setting lit with fluorescent tubes. Would definitely be a nice ad for a Vodka or an alcoholic beverage of sorts. Nicole is now behind a column of sorts, some guy with pale green hair and spikes walks up by her without noticing her, she taps him on the shoulder. He turns around. She immediately pushes up against him, holding him up with her arm on his shoulder. Green spikes is obviously someone she knows, either that or she's in an extremely flirty mood as by now I'm starting to think the song is trying to suggest. She grabs green spike's jacket and brushes up against him while looking at his eyes. That scene is extremely hot and full of tension, it's delicious to watch. It could have been done slightly better if green spike had shown some kind of emotion, maybe pulling her in or pulling back in shock, maybe trembling in excitement or because he's overwhelmed by her. Still, it's a great scene that I enjoyed. Oh my god the scene is actually not over as Nicole now wraps her arms and hands around green spike's neck, resting her weight on his shoulders and elevating herself to his height. Nicole owns this scene, it is her scene. At this point, green spikes is barely even noticeable despite his freaking hair being green! The look on Nicole's face displays a thousand words and a thousand emotions and it does so PERFECTLY. That look, that gaze is so intense. I can feel the emotions and the stories being transmitted through those eyes staring deeply into each others. As previously stated green spikes's performance is extremely weak and forgettable but that's almost ok because the scene isn't him. The camera crew, the lighting crew, the sound guy, no one is there for him. A queen is been crowned and that is what they are there for, to capture Nicole's moment. More people in flashy colored washed up clothes are dancing, is this even necessary, we get it now, your a boy band that signs and dance, one thing sure you as hell failed to do so far his act and capture the audience... Nicole appears again smiling at a red haired guy with messed up hair in a white suit over once again a t-shirt or tank top and wearing a chain. Could this be gangster guy who decided to get an haircut ? This time Nicole is wearing an elegant black dress. Again, she brushed up against him, grabs his jacket and pulls him towards her. I'm starting to think Nicole has a little something for guys with colored hair and casual but nice looking jackets. There seems to be a pattern here... Not as much intensity is shared between those two but we get two see white jacket guy holding Nicole with his hand on her side. We have previously never seen any of the guy's touching her back so this is an interesting twice, maybe that guy is more of a dominant figure or is simply more confidant and comfortable around her ? People spinning around in women's pants and colored leggings. Woah! Never mind the lack of intensity, Nicole's now caressing the guy's face, her own face almost buried in his neck. She's smiling from war to ear. Well, come to think of it, it ain't so much "intensity" per say as it appears to be "fun". She looks like she's enjoying her time with this red haired gentleman. And like she did with cool guy, she just leaves him without saying anything, not even looking back as she walks away. Why ? Nicole's now looking out a window that looks extremely fake lol c'mon people responsible for the set and the background props, try a little harder next time and by little I mean a lot. Still in black, she approaches philosophical, pensive, timid, probably homo sexual pale blue guy who looks as if he's reflecting about something. She kneels next to him to rest on his shoulder as if she's about to whisper something in his ear. Philosophical pale blue guy doesn't appear to care very much at all either confirming his homo sexuality or lack of acting abilities. Maybe it could also be some form of disinterest in the character that Nicole portrays ? A guy with a mushroom bowl cut from the late 80's who thought it would be a great idea to bring back that hair style but with a two color tone twist approaches Nicole who is once again looking out a window, this time wearing white. He touches her and she turns to face him. Immediately mister mushroom head reaches for her face, feeling her delicate flowery like skin. Nicole seems perplexed as her hand reaches up to meet him, she doesn't seem to know how to feel, should she grab his hand mad make it stop should she let him carry on.... People are dancing as mushroom head leaves Nicole smiling at her. Nicole now by herself seems satisfied. This conclude the recap and "immediate analysis" of AJAX new music video featuring Nicole Jung. As closing thought to this recap I would like to once again point out the magnificent acting displayed by Nicole throughout the video. She totally captured the audience and carried the video, making the scenes without her look dull, long, and boring, until they completely disappeared and all that could be seen or remembered from the video was her stellar performance. A round of applause for the director, makeup artists and costume designers as well who did a great job with Nicole and with the supporting male actors at some points (some of the jackets were actually pretty good looking). Some interesting things can be learned from this video and applied in real life. If you're a skinny guy, maybe your tall as well ? Try a casual looking long colored jacket with nothing else under but a t-shirt, maybe accompanied by a pendant or chain. Seems like it looks good, original and attract goddesses. (Note that I will be buying a colored jacket and some Polos under shirt first thing this morning). Now that the recap and immediate analysis is done, another interesting begins, the actual analysis of the hidden meanings and stories seen in the video. It is currently 7:06 in the morning here and I haven't slept yet due to the excitement surrounding the teasing, hype and release of this video. Consequently, my brain is now working sub-optimally. I have not yet been able to thoroughly analyse and think of anything truly meaningful behind the acts and symbols displayed throughout the video. However, I note the following as potential leads to deeper and possibly profound meanings that I should try to analyse later on, feel free to join me on whatever social media of your preference. - The colors and the switch between colors that Nicole is wearing. White, black, white, black, skin colored. - The amount of eye makeup Nicole is wearing in different scenes.. - The intensity of her look and allure. The way she teases differently or similarly. - The empty looking settings, often with only one color and some very small details such as window textures and forms. - The different colors of the jackets each guy is wearing as well as their personality and reaction to Nicole's "seduction". - The fact that sometimes Nicole walks away from the guy's and some other times the scene just ends instead. In slightly unrelated notes, now that the Music Video has been released, watched and slightly analysed comes another fun part, the wait for gifs and edits. tl;dr: Nicole #1 And I'm still looking for image or video editors.
