There definitely is something special that I can't describe, but it's not like love or anything. Just a weird thing that makes me happy when she smiles, sad when she cries and slightly defensive when something negative is said about her. As a person I seem to be really into something, call it an obsession/addiction, quite often. Usually as soon as I stop liking something, I end up being "obsessed/addicted" to something new. For example I used to play WoW for up to 16 hours a day, once I finally stopped, I really got into SC2, both the game and spectating. And when I say got into, I mean spend most of my time doing stuff related to it. And now, for about a year it has been Kpop, mainly Soshi. Since I don't really see it as something that affects my life in a very negative way, I think you could consider calling it a passion. I don't think I'm obsessed in a way that I can't control anymore. If I enjoy spending my time more while lets say watching a variety show than go out and get wasted while spending a lot of money, I don't see why I shouldn't. I once too wondered whether my "passion" was acceptable, but people have taught me, you should do what you enjoy and stop caring about what other people think about it. As for whether it is unhealthy, for me personally, I doubt it. Of course I sometimes buy useless stuff (a magazine just for 9 pictures). But it's not like it affects my physical health, in contrast, it actually made me live healthier. Watching what I eat a lot more than I used to, and working out on a regular basis. However, how it affects my psychological health, I am not sure. I guess it's slightly strange to like something so much, but I don't really know any reason to consider it bad. I enjoy it, and I'm not hurting anyone else in the process. | ||
