To ensure this thread won't be closed, you must adhere to several a number of simple rules;
Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
No reposting of old material unless justified
Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up.
How is it my university gets A+ on speedtest yet a 3 star rating as an ISP? Must be the reason why Chrome is so fking slow during the day and a speed demon at night.
Digging these songs! If you know any others like this (not named Davichi coz I got em all already) share plox.
You should check out See Ya, the albums are California Dream, Rebloom and See You Again aswell as a variety of OSTs and digital songs I am sure you can find them, here is an example of a song
Since SeeYa was mentioned I'll post some of my favorites. There's no words for Kim Yeon Ji's voice. ♥ I'd also say Joo has a similar voice and she has a song in History of Salaryman as well I believe. Check out some of her stuff.
Next week will be the last episode of GGDB, I'm so sad. The concept seemed a bit strange at first but I really enjoyed watching it. So I'm going to post a few gifs from last weeks episode, don't feel like doing the previous weeks as well. This is probably going to be pretty heavy to load so be warned.
oh yeah I do know a lot of them don't like idols and kpop.... or go nuts like you guys do... but they still listen to it casually.. like top100 stuff ya know? people like dramas, variety shows and shit like chinchin radio etc.
Bit too early to have a finalized tracklist for a June album.
Anyway yeah, I know a bunch of Koreans and some of them don't like kpop at all much in the same way almost none of use like American top 40s. They're all into different shit, alot of indie music, stuff like that.
On an unrelated note my Korean class has extra "culture" classes 3x a week, and we have to attend 5 a semester. I signed up for a random five and today ended up being about Hallyu, which just translates to "here are a bunch of actors/singers/idols/movies that have gained international attention". That's not the interesting part (not that any of this is) though. The thing is that there were a couple girls, not in my regular language class, that were basically a living rendition of an Allkpop commentator, only somewhat more dangerous since they were armed with more vocab than "saranghae oppa" (lol that comic). Like, OMG B2ST I LOVE THEM etc etc., and after class used Unnie and shit while speaking in English. It was unsettling and weird. Kind of like the kpop version of seeing someone embody 4chan, but in person.

Ahh Koreaboos.. I can relate to your feelings... I know too many of them. Perhaps, one day, taengoo will turn me into one too. I hope not though.
I mean, I know what they are but so far my exposure has been limited to the internet. Seeing one IRL was...unsettling.
edit- also that class has confirmed to me that kpop is a primary reason all the non-Koreans want to learn the language. I mean, it's kind of a reason for me too but I also have Korean friends and shit so it's not the primary reason...seeing someone who's only connection to the class is a desire to speak to Super Junior was weird.
