To ensure this thread won't be closed, you must adhere to several a number of simple rules;
Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
No reposting of old material unless justified
Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up.
you know kpop is infesting you when you replace L's with R's naturally and read the label "whole" on the cap of your milk as "whore"
-___-
You are aware that while the "L" sound is pretty much identical to the English "L" (Especially for the word "whole"; 홀), the "r" sound pretty much in no way exists in the Korean language.
I don't understand how you can substitute L's for R's.
ㄹ can be R or L depending on position in a word and the characters surrounding it.
More like there's no proper way to represent that specific alveolar phoneme without writing it in IPA.
If you have a basic to intermediate understanding of linguistics, a quick skim through this will be a lot more informative than dumbed down explanations of why things are romanized the way they are: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korean_phonology

r sound doesn't exist what? Of the VERY little korean I know, 하루 하루 and 사랑해 both have r sound. So 2 of the ~5 words I know have an r sound...
It depends on the sounds surrounding "ㄹ" As a general rule, It is "L" in word-final position and in front of another consonant sound or "R" in word-initial position and between two vowels
Applying to 하루 (haㄹu), notice that “ㄹ” is surrounded by vowel sounds "a" "u" and hence is a "r" sound.
I'll put it this way, I love Nicole just as much as you, but there's one thing that you're unmatched in: all the crazy fanboy-things I say I'd do but are just too extreme to ever do... you actually do :O
You're a little crazy, but I'm still proud of your devotion lol
I usually agree with the majority in this thread on trolls of groups but I dont see how Hwayoung got somehow grouped with them. I admit she was nothing special when she joined the group but the shorter her hair got the better she looked. She definetly was noticable during cry cry but during lovey dovey my eyes were stuck on her more then pjy and eunjung. She was definitly godtier for me during this promotion already but that 3 min nipple made her another obsession of mine.
i like it but the music sounds like britney spears? edit: ok it doesnt sound like britney spears but the old audition songs back in the 2005 2006 days :D
if Hwayoung aint a troll I dont know who is. I'll admit shes looking better lately but still, her addition has decreased the screen time of everyone else. (Boram I dont care about, she can hang in the back and not be seen with Hwayoung).
