By utilizing fun pictures of the members and voice recordings to help with pronunciation, the app wil be far from boring.
and will include
over 400 different lessons on vocabulary and phrases fans will need when visiting Korea. Topics cover everything from greetings, transportation, shopping, eating, and finding a place to stay.
An auto translator will be included with the app, as well as a penpal service that connects fans to Korean speakers for more practice.
This could actually be useful.
The app is only available for iPhone users, but will be made available on the Android market in January with additional themes on Hallyu dramas and movies.
It's only 5$, seems like a good and fun way to learn basic stuff.
Itunes says the app is in English but it looks geared towards the Japanese market. According to someone who bought it on KH:
it only have korean and japanese There is 2 version though, 1 for korean to learn japanese, the other is for japanese to learn korean Hope that they release an english version
As long as people are open-minded and not completely biased in their selections, I think a few 2011 polls wouldn't hurt. Agree on the fanbase issue though...

Read about this earlier this afternoon. Really excited about it. Now I have no excuse for my procrastinating
Make sure to read my edits before buying, it's only available in Japanese-Korean or Korean-Japanese, no english yet! I was also considering buying it but now I'll have to see and wait if they release one geared towards the english speaking market.

Yeah but that'll never happen... most of people's opinions of a song depend on how they feel about a group anyway.
SNSD winning with the boys? I doubt that even the most hardcore of sones will vote for the boys. If you put down Trick or Oscar then SNSD might have a chance of winning.
Even though I'm SNSD biased as fuck I wouldn't vote Trick or Oscar.

Japan always gotta get everything TT
Ah damn, that sucks. I'm assuming (more hoping) they will be releasing an English version since most of their Foreign fan base would be english speakers. Then again, they have been pretty damn successful in Japan, which explains the Japanese release.

That is just fine, since I know Japanese. ^_^

I agree, that's generally what ends up happening. However, I personally hold this thread to higher standards, I think the people of this thread are smart and critical enough to overlook their fandom and vote for quality. Maybe I'm wrong tho. I probably am lol...
naw you know i'm just gonna vote roly poly for everything
No IU tonight? Loving A Pink, they've been getting some pretty decent fan chants these past few weeks. Including some screaming fan girls. Must be a good sign.
Less You and I performances. Girl needs to start promoting 4AM, best song on the album. And that grunt is just damn nasty >_____> Then again it's probably not the most marketable song. But it IS IU and IU can sell anything so w/e I guess.
hamcoke is best coke btw. Only good thing about this christmas
