The notes/progression for the most part are of the same style, I just find this example to be the most obvious. Imho both songs (and Crazy because of you & womanizer) just have very "obvious & dominant" beats. Just listen to a random pop (kpop or otherwise) song and count 1-4 (or 1-8) in your head. It's the same structure repeated . i.e. Gee & The Boys have the same base structure (as the earlier mentioned songs) - just a bit more complicated to hear it, since there's a lot of offbeats. Mirotic is another good example (and easier to hear).

However, I personally hold this thread to higher standards, I think the people of this thread are smart and critical enough to overlook their fandom and vote for quality. Maybe I'm wrong tho. I probably am lol...

As long as it's not blatantly ripped 100%, then why are people complaining. There are a ton of songs from all over the world over so many decades. Of course you're gonna run into some similarities here and there.

as for the T-ara thing, I think that in some songs they sound familiar but to claim plagiarism like some people are is ridiculous. edit- 1. It's amusing that T-ara can both be accused of having no coherent musical style at all, yet have (mostly the same) people claim that multiple songs of theirs rip off an artist that does stick to one musical style. Can't have both. 2. more of an observation, but I find it amusing that Moonwrath can speak with complete knowledge about a topic (T-ara songs, names of Rainbow members), and then when the trolling starts claims he doesn't know them at all. Rainbow subgroup was chosen to promote less popular members, and of those they chose the best singers. Which is why the 3 chosen make complete sense. No that's fucking dumb. There's already enough flamebaiting as it is and all a poll would serve to do is reaffirm who the most popular artists on the thread are- SNSD would most likely win, followed by IU/T-ara. Polls of the year are stupid anyway and, as you do TuElite, I hold this forum to higher standards than such hit-grubbing trash.

People won't be voting based on merit and will most certainly just end up voting for their favorite group, regardless of what crap they put out. It'll be like the MAMA, a popularity contest. Plus its just setting the stage for flamewars.

Don't let Your Eyes Wander Roly Poly Bubble Pop 0330 Fiction I think.... Making a top 5 is still really hard and I'm probably forgetting some that i like more but w/e. Also, SNSD is my favorite group but they didn't have the best year so yeah, not all fans blindly pick their favorite.

I actually don't get it, and the first 1min of the music video was...awkward. Would like to give those that liked it the opportunity to explain why I am wrong.
