- When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
- No reposting of old material unless justified
- Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
- No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
- Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
- No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
- No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
- Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up. |

Those hyoyeon pictures above make her look damn good gotta admit, always thought of her as an ugly troll. The pictures of sica without make up... looks disgusting, would never give a second look at that in real life. Koreans are damn good at make up It's no surprise since this forum has pushed this undeserved bashing of Hyoyeon. Feel like there's a select few that started it and it just spread around and became the norm to bash Hyoyeon. Granted, she doesn't have the best pictures compared to all the Korean idols (and for the longest time, had the absolute worst hair stylist), but she's definitely good looking for the most part (at least unbiased people would believe so). *pulls up flame shield* >but she's definitely good looking for the most part (at least unbiased people would believe so) oh man you were doing great. and then you tried to objectively judge beauty and taste.
it's also silly and a bit naive to believe that idols haven't had any plastic surgery. I'd almost consider it a rite of passage for the idol business. Also, I have never understood why people believe facial plastic surgery = splicing plastic/wax/elastic into your face. the word plastic isn't what you think it means. plastic surgery encompasses everything from rhinoplasty to braces for teeth. the negative attitude towards these procedures seems highly ironic in a business where aesthetics are highly prized. yalls jus ignant git ejukated ffs

Everyone always ends up doing these number rankings. My group of friends uses a different scale. The pass or fail scale (cuz thats all that matters amiright?)
Here is SNSD for me according to the pass/fail scale. pass: Teayeon, Jessica, Tiffany, Yuri, Yoona, Seohyun Fail: Hyoyeon, Sunny, Sooyoung
For reference: Girl's Day is all passes. Rainbow everyone passes except Noeul and Yoonhye. T-ara pass except Hwayoung. Kara all pass. Secret all pass as well.
Speaking of, nobody ever posts Zinger so here is something seasonal

Well people in those groups pass but some are better than others...basically you work on a 2 point scale whereas we rank shit.

I thought IU didn't have plastic?
|
All she's said is that she didn't do her nose. That doesn't mean she didn't do other shit (and if you go by the general term of plastic, she most certainly got her teeth done, being all unnaturally straight and white and shit)

I thought it was pretty common in the Western world to get braces? Whitening maybe not? I've never really considered orthodontics to be cosmetic surgery.

edit- and if you don't want to take AndyRau's word for it, idols specifically mention braces/whitening when asked about plastic surgery.

I don't understand why braces falls under plastic surgery. It has a specific connotation to botox?
Anyway, didn't she release some pictures to prove she didn't have surgery or something?

I'm pretty sure most idols have veneers. Some just have way to even smiles even for braces. I think that's what DystopiaX was talking about when mentioning teeth.
Celebrities with fake teeth (before and after)

People always joke that they're too straight not to be fake. So they don't always have to be veneers.
Also, jesus Craton.

The singer ‘Baby Soul’ (19·Lee Soojung)’s first digital single ‘No Better Than Strangers’ got caught under KBS’ review.
KBS forbid Baby Soul’s single title track ‘No Better Than Strangers’ to broadcast because its lyrics included words that belittled men.
‘You can’t even do this you jerk, am I asking for something big? You can’t even do this you wicked man, you should at least pretend’ is the problematic part.
Her company Woollim entertainement declared “It’s only realistic lyrics relating the feelings of a woman resentful toward a man, we didn’t intend to belittle men at all” and “It’s confusing but we won’t be changing the lyrics”.
lol wow sometimes I think the people that review songs and choreography would be more at home in North Korea... Either that or it`s just a huge racket and way to extort money from entertainment company. So shady.

Rofl at the mass Zinger stuff, just because I (badly) compared Hyoyeon with her... My bad guys. And to be honest I think fixing teeth is something that is required as a public figure. And I truly think they should all have a proper appearance which I why I don't mind plastic at all. They are celebrity, they need to look decent at least. Just don't look like you are really made of plastic.
And wtf the paper bag is just disrespectful at it's max o.o
edit typo ><

Must admit I laughed at the bag pic. I feel bad now.

but ah, effective use of packaging materials!

They're also ungodly white, which indicates not just braces cause they don't really help with that. Either way I highly doubt that IU hasn't had some type of cosmetic surgery done.
