It's no surprise since this forum has pushed this undeserved bashing of Hyoyeon. Feel like there's a select few that started it and it just spread around and became the norm to bash Hyoyeon. Granted, she doesn't have the best pictures compared to all the Korean idols (and for the longest time, had the absolute worst hair stylist), but she's definitely good looking for the most part (at least unbiased people would believe so).

I'm enraged! No okay just kidding, I accept she's not a classic beauty and I'm just biased, but she looks good to me even without / with minimal makeup. And fanboyism is one thing, but Sunny Tiffany Hyoyeon Yuri Seohyun all look bad without makeup from what I've seen. Also since we're already talking no makeup, I don't really like her that much but I have to admit Gyuri is the first girl that comes to my mind, she looks very good like that, different sure but still good looking.
Well, Hyoyeon isn't "ugly" for sure, she's probably prettier than most of the girls you see everyday on the street, but when you compare her to other idols, particularly her SNSD unnies, there is something about her face that's weird. She doesn't have the cute pretty face or sexy look you are used to see on other idols (a bit like hyorin imo, but that's just my opinion). People in this thread just like to exaggerate, so when you see something like "ugly" or "troll", it probably means "low tier compared to other idols, but still okayish/kind of pretty"
I really want to like Hyoyeon as much as the others but as soon as I think in my mind "She's on this girls level" I think of the other member and immediately don't think Hyoyeon is in there league lol.
I used to rank Seohyun pretty low too, but shes growing up well. Especially after watching YongSeo couple on WGM, shes becoming more and more attractive. She seems bright too, especially looking up to the UN Secretary General of all people

Hyoyeon is one of those idols I think would look bad comparitively IRL (other being Hwayoung). Most of the time yes, it's exaggeration or compared to other idols but I've never thought she was good looking, even for non kpop standards.
Also I liked those pictures of Jessica from the airport. Almost unrecognizable from her broadcast/performance look (the only reason I recognized her was the chin and that wide-eyed look she has), but looked decent.
Davichi song for OST. Does not contain any Davichi, instead has suffering people, but the song is nice, and from what I gather the program does good things?
I'm a big fan of hip hop and rap and I got to say that those songs are like nails on chalk board to my ears. You might have wanted to post that on the "bad songs that are funny to listen to thread".

Dunno what kind of streets you're walking down, but she's ugly, and uglier than most of the girls I see everyday. Rating idols based on other idols is ridiculous. People are people. Period.
