Tbh I blame the camera work more than anything. Static camera would do wonders. Ofc they have to be able to sing and do it at the same time, but they've never been good at that.

Ya, that t-ara performance was really disappointing. Part of it might be the camera work but there was a definite lack of energy as well. I was really excited for the performance after seeing the practice vid but I just found the performance boring instead.

As much as I love her, Soyeon dancing is kind of underwhelming for me.

Sooyoung looked surprisingly good today.

That Hyomin outfit was LOL. I liked Soyeon and Jiyeon's outfit the best (or do I just like them?)

After watching todays Mcountdown: Still not really as convinced as you guys are by this t-ara song, boram and soyeon look amazing though.

Also lols at the "outrage" @ hyomins outfit, really? come on now.

Running man has been great for me all the way through, with the exception of 1 or 2 episodes.

Also the quality is pretty decent for a variety show, but I think they could come up with better ideas for there overall themes nowadays.

I am definately upset about the outcome of episode 68 though.

T-ara's performance was pretty meh, dun really know what it was exactly. I'm fine with Hyomin's outfit, this is 2011 that's pretty tame, but her hair really does not go well with it, bring back her IGCBOY hair!

I really am not sold on Cry Cry. Even the non ballad version makes me go "CMON. GIMMIE SOMETHING MORE, ANYTHING."

It just kinda feels not done to me, like something is missing. I think its the actual music beneath the singing isnt nearly as good as it could be. Its not upbeat enough, not powerful enough throughout the whole song.

I'll be honest, I only watched the two eps with 6 SNSD members in it. I had no idea who the 5 guys were and who the MC was, and found them hilarious, although that was probably fueled further because I have an idea what each one of the SNSD's personalities were like.

How would it fare if I didn't know the guests on the show as well?

Running Man is only the second variety show ive ever watch, after IY, and i can tell you its almost always very funny. Give the first few eps a try and see for yourself.

Ps. about half the time i have no idea who the guests are, while not always as interesting as if it were an idol girl i like, its still fun.

So I suppose its not Kpop related, but you should definitely watch the episode with Choi Min Soo(The landpirate/drunk ninja actor from Warrior Baek Dong Soo) it has got to be the best Running man episode I have seen (and that includes stuff like the Suzy/Jiyeon/Sulli/Luna special).

Either way, WG dropped the trophy lol, I love how Sohee just doesn't give a fuck about either winning(Everyone cries but Sohee) or the trophy dropping. Anyway, maybe T-ara will be better on Mubank(Spinning round and round).

Kim Bo Kyung

So thanks to Hiya i've been listening to Kim Bo Kyung all night. I searched and saw that she was mentioned roughly 2 months ago but she deserves some love again. Considering she didn't even made it to TOP11 in Superstar K2 to now be one of few that actually has released stuff is quite big.

Even though she's not idol qt I thought I could add some pictures.

From mainly listening today I kind of favor her newer stuff. Without You, 아파 and Suddenly (City Hunter OST) are definitely the songs that stands out for me.

Even though I've been tuning in to music shows for quite some time now her performance at Hallyu Dream Concert is one of few times I distinctly know I recognized her. It was so powerful and different from most stuff performed that night.

Just a few random performances. Her singing Because of You on Superstar K2, Hotel California on M Soundplex and finally her performing Poker Face in what seems to be a mall. You guys should really watch Hotel California, it's quite good.

Sohees always been like that. Like I remember when Wondergirls had this interview with Jyp and they asked her about the hardships in America and she said she was lonely at times. And Jyp said he was so surprised hearing that from her because while he said people like Sunmi would cry when she was feeling sad Sohee would just hold it and not really show it and he felt bad because since she never showed it he just thought she was doing fine.

Also on another note really disappointed with T-ara's performance on Mnet. I think maybe it was a combination of the make up, lighting and the fact that they were overworked but the closeups in the Ballad version looked horrible. The make up looked caked, the members looked exhausted, sick, and lack luster. It was actually hard to keep on watching. The dance version wasn't much better I felt. I don't know but they actually look unattractive. Like I feel they looked even better with no make up...
Hopefully musicbank won't disappoint because the practice video looked amazing.

Yeah seriously - how come the practice video was so fn amazing while all we get in the comeback version is exhausted members, slutty Hyomin and terrible camera work?

Change the outfits, change the camera guy, bring in some screaming groupies, give the girls some rest and do it again. Until then I'll try to forget that mishap.

^well with the practice version the quality was low enough that they probably were exhausted looking- you just couldn't tell. The outfits IMO are fine, probably a bit much for Korean standards but they've always been a bit too conservative IMO, I was completely fine with it. As I've said, I also agree with the crap camera- it should be fairly static except for the soloish parts (Boram dance, Soyeon singing in front while members are crouched/hidden in back, etc.), too many swoops and a big part of the awesomeness of the choreo was how well the formations/all the members+backup dancers looked together, and zooming in on Hyomin or w/e all the time ruins that. Her haircut is awful as well.
