Also Sistar looks good singing and dancing cause half the group only has to concentrate on dancing, Bora doesn't have hard dance moves while rapping, and Hyorin is a fucking professional. edit- Been thinking about this for awhile and IMO CCM has to reevaluate how they manage T-ara. Sure all the individual acting schedules are great but the adverse affect of having perhaps the most punishing schedule out of all the girl groups is becoming noticeable. Hyomin not appearing for half the performances last cycle and for non-broadcast appearances due to dramas, Eunjung having WGM as well as a drama, 1 (soon to be 2) Japanese releases and the promotions that accompany those, and 2 major album releases in around 3 is ridiculous, even by Kpop standards. T-ara had already been busy before because they take the "multimedia star" approach more seriously than anyone else- over half the group has appeared on dramas, guest appearances, more solo starring variety shows than anyone else, and as many endorsements as any other top group out there. Add promoting in another country where their target market is becoming increasingly competitive and it's clearly become too much for the girls. I have to say I admire how most girl groups can appear so energetic and upbeat despite their schedules but as this performance shows T-ara is lacking this. Slow the fuck down, concentrate on a few areas at a time instead of taking a shotgun approach to infiltrate all forms of media, and make every individual project good. Stop taking endorsements for random F2P MMOs, make your brand alittle more exclusive, charge more for endorsements so you don't have to work as hard for the same amount of money. Stop trying to have them promote everyone constantly and slow the fuck down. Alternate the acting and the singing duties or something. There's no doubt that they're all ridiculously talented, and that kpop groups can work harder than I thought possible, but this is getting fucking ridiculous. I'm sure they're tired and overworked while preparing for their comeback, but that's true of every popular Kpop group who makes a comeback. They get virtually no sleep or rest, and practice over and over and over to make sure everything is perfect. The fact that the performances we see on TV are usually actually a combination of multiple takes or the best take out of a few gives them less of an excuse. Believe me, I sympathize with how ridiculous the work schedules are for these idols, but T-ara isn't unique in that regard. Some leeway can be given since Eunjung had just been injured and Soyeon was apparently recovering from illness, but that doesn't explain why the rest of them were also lackluster. As for your explanation for why Sistar dances so well in their lives performances, I don't buy it. Every group has certain members that carry most of the singing load, and each has at least one member who either barely sings or just raps. It's true that Hyorin carries the group vocally, but both Soyu and Dasom sing about as much as many girl group members do. Keep in mind that they only have four members, so it's really obvious when even one of them is off or subpar. Your explanation actually works better for T-ara as a large part of Cry Cry is sung by Soyeon and Eunjung, with the rest of them having a few lines at most or a short rap. T-ara also has backup dancers, which I don't think Sistar has ever had. The only advantage I could see is that Sistar has less non-music-related activities, which allows them to focus more on their performances. I agree that T-ara's management should tone it down with the non-music-related activities, but you should consider that it may be the members themselves that are pushing it. I get the feeling that Eunjung doesn't care all that much about being a successful singer, so much as she wants to be a famous actress or celebrity in general, and uses her affiliation with T-ara to help her do that. Same goes for Qri, Jiyeon and probably Boram.

I dunno how similar American law is to Australian law but that's a common misconception in Australia. Here, 16 is legal consent for girls only if the guy is within a year of her age

It's not like it takes much effort to lip sync and stroke your arse for 5 minutes :/ EDIT: OH FUCKING DOUBLE POST w/e

Because comparing SIStar choreo to the Cry Cry choreo is a little bit of a far off comparison and a bad standard for discussion. You'd be better off comparing DBSK's Rising Sun live perfs. Which they didn't even bother lipsyncing because of how much more involved the dance was.

Because they are a rookie group theyl have to in order to stay anywhere near the industry, but goddamn its a tough time to promote right now for (girl) groups ever since KARA came back. Like, when noone of the big players were there Secret won so many shows and now they can't simply because of the tough competition. It looks cute, christmas songs prolly tho.

The snow in the title kind of gives it away. It's definitely going to be a Christmas song. A Pink of course being the rookie group that they are have no chance on winning any music shows but I don't think that it's what they are aiming for (yet). The cute image and Christmas will probably work well. I think they have enough of a fanbase to survive though ;-)
