Superstar K3 real terror on the Korean music charts. Show had the no. 1 and 2 songs on the charts last week. The favorites in the competition is Two Months, a duet group from New Jersey. They are kids, but they got a pretty sweet style.

The other favorites are Busker Busker. A three person band with a retro rock style that's pretty unique.

It's not as bad as some make it in here, the song is better than the 5min+ version in MV. Maybe it's just because it's so unfamiliar that it sounds kind of awkward. Nonetheless I still think there are far better songs on the album. Guess because of that worldwide release there wasn't really a choice for a different title track.

Thumbs up for trying something different, but I guess it wasn't such a big success as most people hoped it would be, especially with all the hype. Anyway Soshi fighting!, let's win everything anyway haha

Yeah actually on one hand I like it when they win but on the other hand I kinda want them to fail and win nothing with this song so that SM realize they are off track with this shit. Not to mention America, if they got popular there it's over. I know most people think it's impossible and they will never get popular but I kinda think it's just a simple question how much money SM and their affiliates invest in marketing, and also how big the online army of rabid spamming Sones gets. Purely a numbers game.

How is anybody rating KARA above or even in the same level as 2NE1? Hara looks like some weirdo alien thing. Gyuri has a MASSIVE head. Like Shindong MASSIVE. It just is. Seungyeon's face is smaller than my hand, but at lease she can can sort of sing when she wants to. Jinyoung is probably gonna be really hot in 2 yrs time, hopefully her vocals would improve as much - however unlikely. Nicole's sorta interesting on variety shows because she's such a novice Korean citizen, despite living there for so many years - though I s'pose she'd wanna keep the stupidity up to keep her from being a nobody like the rest of us. Shit songs too btw. /rant

Maybe success wasn't the right word there indeed, I'm fairly sure it will be a success anyway. What I meant was that I, and apparently a lot of others, at least here in this thread, had high expectations? The song really isn't bad and gets a lot better after a few listens but it isn't on par with their other stuff.

ok brutally honest opinion on the album after listening through it at work

besides trick and oscar, all the songs are rubbish.

hugely disappointed as always with snsds shit post tmyw in korea. their japan album was pretty good. should have just stayed there and milked the hell out of the market.

OK Maybe I'm late to the party but fuck it about SNSD:
Most of the songs are OK, but not more. Only ones that I really like are Trick Me, OSCAR and MR.Taxi korean version. The Boys is OK, it's not bad but it's nothing special imo. It got some good parts and some quite bad parts.

Time to check out the Secret album (damn Im so behind T_T)
