Maybe alittle, But overall my wife and i thought it was a great movie to see. i would definantly recommend it and im looking forward to watching it again. Side note: I dont think you need to watch the movie in 3D to get the full experience. I am going to have to disagree. For me the movie itsself was average as in don't care if i missed it, the visual experience however to me made at least 50% of the whole experience. I think it differs from person to person

I believe you mean to ask, "Are you comparing a 10 minute clip a single guy made to a full length movie made by a 500 million dollar budget?" To which I would answer: Yes, yes I am. Avatar is lengthier and has more content, yes, but I felt they could have done a lot more with it than what they did. That's just my opinion. As for the stationary objects - I felt the Na`Vi were the weakest link in the CGI as, while decent, they did look the part of 3d animation to me. On the contrary, I really liked the flying dudes. Their quality of animation and texturing was far superior. I hope Blizzard can do that with the Zerg. Don't get me wrong, I did like the visuals a fair bit. I was a big fan of CGI movies like Appleseed and Final Fantasy (both of them), too. But I find the subtleties to stand out. I don't see Blizzard or the other guy making a 3 hour long CGI movie anytime soon, so I can understand why you would feel that opinion quite out of place. After watching that sc2 intro cinematic time and time again just to focus on new areas and watch different doodads move into place, it's hard for me to register anything else as coming close to that. There are probably details in Avatar I've missed that I'll have to look for when bluray comes out. The music in the 2nd trailer is better than the OST. Indeed; according to the video that was made by Audio Machine, a trailer music company, and not Horner. ![]()

There's not a single surprising thing about the story or the way that it's told, the fact that its a time after time repeated story doesnt make it a bad story, but not an amazing one, as amazed is something you use when your pleasantly surprised, and there was nothing surprising about it all. The experience was good, but that was, as said before, because of the amazing graphics. I dont think its a bad film, but I just dont see why people would label this as best ever unless they mean purely visually.

Some people like the stories that have been told many times before. Which is WHY they've been told many times before.

Granted these people like cartoons, it still happens.

+ Show Spoiler + ![]() The visuals and mech suits were enough for me really, and although the story was predictable and cheesy, it worked well enough.

Oh my god, that movie is so good it's ridiculous. I must've watched it at least fifty times when i was a kid, my favourite by far.

oh jesus I gotta post again just to thank you. I have only very distant and tattered memories of my childhood and one of the most vague, barely tangible memories had scenes from a movie I could never possibly remember and eventually totally forgot, but the second I opened your spoiler I was like holy shit. You totally just brought back pleasant times from an age long past.

You will be on the edge of your seat, especially if you watch it in 3D. I felt like I didn't want to leave the movie theater ![]()
