Granted the last say 10 episodes were so over the top awesome, the ending actually fit perfectly. + Show Spoiler +Lelouch never changed his goals, it was always to create the perfect world for Nunally even if he had to go against her to get it The last half of R2 was sooo bad...the very last episode, the ending, was good, but everything before that was a huge disgusting mess.

CANAAN is such a good action anime, the biggets surprise this season son far.
Umineko no Naku Koro ni has potential to be really entertaining, but im not really convinced it will archieve much, so far the story seems a little weak.
That anime about the girls living underwater (the name is hard to remember) is really crappy and generic, not worth seeing.
Ive yet to watch Tokyo 8.0, i guess it will be the next.

The problem I have with Umineko no Naku Koro ni is that NONE of the characters are even remotely good. They have completely over the top or no reactions at all to anything. It would be a lot better if the characters were more believable and likable.
Also just saw ep4:
+ Show Spoiler +With Dr.Colonel, Genji, Kanon and old lady dying this episode we now have 5 left on the island.
Those alive: Battler Jessica George Maria Shotgun lady
Like they are really jumping ahead with things.
My money is on Kanon being the killer, as it never actually showed his corpse and if i remember right he's the first one not shown as dead.

Got around to watching Fruits Basket. Well, on ep 19 right now. I love how they end their episodes with that music + replaying scenes from the ep.

+ Show Spoiler +don't think so since they show Kanon as being stabbed and later on the Dr. says Kanon died

+ Show Spoiler + Well that's my point, this is the 1st time we've only heard someone is dead. He could have faked who knows, also the first time we've seen someone get hurt/die

SUBS FUKKEN WHERE?
I hate it when people whine about subs being only a few days late. It's not like you have to be afraid of never having your favourite show subbed, or being dragged on yet 7 weeks late (like Souten Kouro )
|
When only Lunar is subbing a show you know that you are going to be getting subs about two months after raw releases :p
Compared to that, Bakemonogatari gets it within what, the day. Suck it up folks, you are getting it so much better off~
People make too many speculations about Umineko, haven't you watched Higurashi? Patience, if you have. If not, go watch that first. The anime really feels like it is built upon the idea that people know the When They Cry series. That said, I feel like they are moving too fast. A lot of the flavor of the characters are being lost because of the speed, episode one of the game alone had enough materials to make it to something like 8 episodes. Unfortunately, they have to adhere to a pacing that will allow for a conclusion of the season without weird stunts. Shame.
Oh, Genwar, about your points. They'll be elaborated upon later.

I just finished watching ep. 2 of Hirugashi and I have never been so creeped out or scared from an anime. I'm almost afraid to keep watching it because I know its just gonna get worse.
Edit: I don't think I can watch past the first 3 seconds of ep 5.
|
I actually gave up watching Higurashi around episode 12 or so. Just completely lost any interest in it.
|
Really? Wow. I was so interested in Higurashi that I HAD to keep watching. Yeah, it was a bit creepy because I was burning through all the episodes from like 11:00 to like 6:00 am. lol

Hmm, I don't know. I'm enjoying it. Some of the moments are a big ugh to watch but overall I think it's good and Tohru's endearing cheeriness is awesome. You will have to take a step down in animation + sound quality though.
I just really especially like how every episode ends when the music comes on and the credits roll. Even if the episode wasn't that good it makes it kinda touching and magical. =]

Finally watched the original Ghost in the Shell movie. Incredible stuff there. Is it just me or are all cyberpunk animes awesome?

The ED song has a really good start to it, and when the episode ends and the credits start, it's so fun...haha.

Yeah, you should never watch OLD anime that doesn't have the high quality animation and overall standard that KyoAni has.
2001? Then 90's and 80's must be unthinkable!

You still haven't gotten over yourself?
I really hope you're not as big of a douche in real life. It's hard to support yourself outside of your parents' house with an attitude like that.

I never really thought of it that way, for some reason, but yeah, that was good...and a fucking trip.
I have Ergo Proxy, Lain and Texhnolyze on my to-watch list, but haven't gotten around to them. I guess I'll go and add Bubblegum Crisis too, then.

Bakemonogatari... doesnt seem like a good anime. I tried watching the first eps and literally felt like something that needed me to be high in order to enjoy it. Also, I stay away from all Shaft productions. They consistently disappoint me time and time again.
