So I just rewatched Elfen Lied and that ending still gets me.
+ Show Spoiler [Elfen Lied Ending] +After watching it this time around, I've changed my interpretation from the first time. I think Lucy is dead now, after finally reconciling with Kouta (which she said was her one aim in life) she didn't really have a reason to live on as she also points out that she's not going to fuck over the human race. Then the scene where she gets confronted by the army and her horn flies off, last time I thought she survived but now ... Seems to me to be symbolic of the demise of the Diclonius, since their distinguishing characteristic is the horns, and now Lucy has no horns and she's the queen, indicates to me that their over. But Nana lives on as the exception to the rule, as she was the only Diclonius that didn't actively want to harm humans. But the final scene still baffles me. I just can't figure who's at the door , the music box playing Lilium stops playing which was what brought Lucy and Kouta together in the first place (which reaffirms to me that she is dead) and the clock chimes on the hour which seems to show the only good thing left behind by Lucy was what she did when she was Nyu. But then there's still that person at the gate for which if I roll with what I just said, can't be Lucy so I got no idea who it could possibly be Anyone else have a different idea? Also I still don't understand why Yuka is so into Kouta, arn't they like cousins ... shit's illegal man ><

YES Ga Rei zero ep 1 is amazing. And as everyone has said, the manga sucks :p
10 eps left of LoGH...
Edit: Spoiler for EL manga: + Show Spoiler +EL manga is pretty different, but Lucy is alive long beyond that part so...
Then again, the anime could easily have a totally different ending.

Instead, she reverted to her original form, a pulsating, writhing mass of pseudo-flesh and slime. In truth, this was but a shadow of her extra-planar self encroaching onto the third dimension, the likes of which was never meant to be gazed upon by human eyes.
Kouta's mind, unable to fathom the shape of this non-Euclidean horror, projected the shape of a young girl in a feeble attempt to preserve the last vestiges of his sanity. As a testament to the creature's power, a nearby music box was rendered mute as its innards were warped along with a large section of the surrounding space-time continuum. In an ironic act, the swath of destruction gave rise to the rebirth of an Eternally Broken grandfather clock, which chimed as if to signal the end of the Earth.
So yeah, my interpretation was always that Lucy died (eg. music box stops), and that the person of the door was her, reborn as Nyu (eg. working grandfather clock). Man, that took a while to write.

Which subbing group do you guys recommend for Infinite Stratos? I looked on TT and saw torrents from quite a few different groups.

Nifty site, thanks for that. Can't believe how many fansub groups there are for a single show though o.o

Constructive contributions to threads are always appreciated on TL, as are people who actually read the OP.
/sarcasm off.
In other news, this Zombie series is kinda weird, its funny but it reminds me a lot of TWGOK.

This Kaiji show is suprisingly intresting.
It's fairly impressive how the manage to drag out simple concepts for many episodes without it getting boring or feeling like a drag.
Unlike many of it's competitors in the "smarty-pants" genre the ideas and solutions are actually logical and can be thought off by the viewer himself if he keeps paying attention.
A solid musical score allows them to bring tension to otherwise boring to watch mental stand offs and the drama and need-for-succes are really brought over to the audience. You really feel why this character needs to win so badly. The mental stress of the various twists and turns is captured pretty well.
Currently a good 14 episode's in but it's suprisingly good. The art is different and for some that might be a let down but i don't mind it too much, it has something of a western-esque feel to it.

Don't listen to Blasterion's lies. Use Stratos subs. Though they didn't start until ep 8. I guess you'll need Ayako before then >.>

Just a reminder: Tonight! at 00:00 GMT (+00:00), running through Cartagra. I think next week at the same time, running through Kara no Shoujo. Then probably a two week hiatus as I get the 5 projects due within a two-week span under order, and then I'll look at what I can do the week before Alchemy/Aiyoku, lol.
