My 480p DVD release of Baccano! (by Ayu) is exactly 233 MB. Are you sure that it is a 720p release? Well it was posted in animetake's 720p section, so I dunno. I'm also getting [Ayu-Anime]'s DVD DDL apparently. Edited that into my post, but a bit too late. But I'll take your word over theirs, anyway.

In addition to torreting during the night, I started to DDL with jdownloader. I started with Baccano! from animetake and had to browse their forums to find out if their DDLs are 720p or 480. Another wierd things is - I'm getting 5-10-20 kb/s with megaupload, but when I choose fileserve or zomgupload, I get 50-200 kb/s O.O the fuck is up with MU for me?
I'm keeping an eye out fr F/Z's last chapter (more like epilogue) and a PDF file D;
When I use DDL, it's usually from the subber's own site. The most common sites I've seen are Fileserve and Hotfile. Both are okay. For sites with DDL lists, I prefer Mediafire and Megaupload because they lack ReCaptcha so jdownloader works well there.
Using xdcc is also a viable option.
Episode sizes vary nowadays. 300-500MB is a pretty good range for 720p though.
The most common encodes for anime are 720p h.264 and 480p xvid. I generally opt for the 720p releases unless I really don't care about the show.

File Serve fucking sucks if you're downloading more than one thing at a time though. Since you have to wait like 12 minutes between every download, and you can only download one thing at a time.

Q:Why should I use this?
A: Well if you are using a list view, it's probably useless. But if you like using large or medium icons, it'll help cure the monotone atmosphere of clicking on endless amounts of folders that all look the same apart from the name. It's just eye-candy and customazation, after all.

Regardless, you can't deny that Gundam Unicorn's production quality surpasses good and is well into the realm of absolutely ridiculous.

Even non-veteran Madoka can apparently one hit the Walpurgis witch. Saving the world is not possible in any scenario where Madoka contracts. She's simply too powerful. I don't trust that suiciding will make everything better either, since it seems despair and happiness must be balanced. I've been wondering if Homura will eventually just kill Madoka before Walpurgis (Since that would apparently only destroy a city, and not the entire world. Seems unlikely though.
