Really enjoying Knights and Magic though Ernie is really something haha. I love seeing him foam at the mouth at all the new mech that he sees. Liked the latest episode though I do wish we start seeing more fights. Probably one of the only things that I feel is missing from the show, much more fights.

+ Show Spoiler +this is some good action here. Selesia and Charon's mechas are awesome and I had a hunch that all the stories would turn against Altair. The fight kind of reminds me of a chuuni vn where it's more of a battle of ideals/concepts than it is any sort of superpowers or anything. Dies comes to my mind. Also lul at hikayu getting martial arts powers. Rip clone against Altair. Also magane had a pretty nice conversation with sota but it was quite obvious that he would become the one to save the story. He is the main character after all. Now let's see what Not!Setsuna will be able to accomplish by retelling the scene in episode 1 or the beginning of the story.
I think this show had a lot of potential to succeed if it just used real characters from other series and if it was in the hands of a different writer. Right now, we have them pumping so much budget into the anime and the merchandise and it's just not reaching the expected returns. Unfortunate.

I like it too, it's pretty good. Ernie and his mechs are kinda OP, but not Isekai Smartphone level of OP (I love that anime though haha). I'm fine we are not seeing more fights right now, since atm the Order of the Silver Phoenix mechs are on another level. Though I think the other crazy guy shown in this episode might invent some other neat stuff.

Fran sucked, though. Not sure what her appeal is? Shes a subpar design as far as Type Moon goes, and lacks any real character outside of grunting and screaming. But maybe thats how certain people like their women?

That still doesn't the fact that she sucks lol. As mentioned above, her character is really boring. Sure, I may sympathize with her past but in the show, there are much more interesting characters. Also, lol @ reddit.

Then you 2 completely missed or disregarded her characterization. Of course he didn't talk she was summoned as a beserker with madness enhancement. That didn't stop Hercules from being a fan favorite. Not that the anime could fully add in the full extend of her character from the novels or the added stuff from FGO where she can be summoned as a saber who can talk.

I take back my criticism on pink haired new girl from last episode. She's good after all. For exactly the reasons I already mentioned as her only strong points. But you just can't ignore them.
