What did you exactly like about them? and yea, steer away from that sin: nanatsu.... the latter is fun though and should watch if you like shounen with high power levels mcs and villains | ||

pretty straight forward drama from like ep2 on with no holding back, all the shoujo eyes with tears and all that. But instead they made the assigned wife a freak? Sure I get that she doesn't like him (yet?) and thus might not care that he loves the other girl but how much she doesn't understand people is just turned up waaaay too high for me. Like, you tell him to kiss her (ep2) because you're curious? Or the fact that the two girls turn into bff's ? And then asking those two over at her place without telling them and not understanding why it might be awkwark? It's just all a bit too much for me Maybe it does go a bit more in depth later on to show that due to the nature of the society in that world her behavior isn't that odd and instead the MC + HanaKana girl are the odd ones. Maybe it's perfectly normal for someone to not understand it because "love" is a thing of legends in that universe, who knows. But as we got to know MC + HanaKana girl first those two just are the ones I take as the "norm" oh and the MC voice is really awful imo | ||

A lot of anime adaptation of LNs are obv baits to get the viewers interested enough to go buy the source. That's just how the marketing scheme works in jp. Sometimes, the more rushed a single season is, the more obv the kind of bait it is. In regards to AR, they nearly jammed in 5 volumes into 12 episodes. That's literally breakneck speed in terms of adaptation. And it only gets worse when you realize how much of the ending was butchered just to fit the anime airing schedule. You also have to take into consideration the kind of popularity a series must have for studios to warrant a second season. So a combination of "I'm not even sure how they can recover from S1's ending" along with knowing AR isn't popular enough of a series in terms of sales (both BD and LN), makes me confident that it's not getting another season. And this is coming from someone who really enjoyed AR. Serika #1. | ||

The design in Abyss is great, what are you talking about? Well, at least the environment design. I actually like the char designs, except for Riko maybe, but I can see why people could dislike it. Now that more people are talking about Princess Principle I should check it out. Staff looks quite promising. I also started the third season of Haikyuu today. First episode set things up and it's going to go right into the match, great. If it's going to be as good as I expect I may finish the season today. | ||

Made in Abyss is staying on the watching list for me. One of the true unique anime to air in a long time. I'll deal with the kid protags simply because I can allow for their behavior more so than I could with an adult or teen acting the same way. | ||
