I had the text in spoiler tags first but realised there wasn't any spoiler so I removed them. Turns out I removed the info about the show and which episodes as well... The pacing has been fairly slow in general thus far but that wasn't a bad thing. I thought it was quite methodical and I was positively surprised by the writing when considering the mess they created in Genesis later on. However, the long flashbacks back to back now completely interupted the flow of the story. | ||

Regarding Yamato should I stick with 2012 remake or watch the 1974 version since I have em both on HDD. Im leaning more towards remake would like your opinions. Same goes for movies might get em one way or the other. As for stuff to watch any older OVA's that I might have skipped? Other tv series? On record City hunter (all) eps and movies Cats eye (same writer as previous series tho this was first) cowboy bebop - tv and movie NGE alone tho wont watch movies mecha isnt really my cup of tea Gundam and Macross is same box (didnt want to spoil myself skimming throuh eps might come back to it) Gunbuster - in queue Kimagure - sits on hdd Gunnm (battle angel) - on hdd outlaw star - finished Ova with junbeei forgot the name, Hero gets in a way of gold smuggling operation under command of hisfriend that he himself killed That 200+ ep series feat Lum havent dl'd it wont prolly watch it Aa! Megami-Sama - tv+specials+ova+movie (gotta get it) all of that waaaaaaaaay back Trigun - gave up really fast might come back to it GITS - Original and SAC Nausiica, Laputa, Mononoke Hime, Grave of Fireflies (Not recommended from me its too real) Got some movies tho these arent really old dont remember names on top of my head. 5cm, girl who leapt through time, Ame and Yuki (This one I did watch), There might be one im missing (and its not Dissappearance of Haruhi), Your name was it? and one with An asshole bullying an deaf girl this one hasme hooked just from that sypnosis tho it will prolly be a hard watch. Angel's Egg - On radar will have to get it somehow Lodoss how could I forget. LoGH - same^ Berserk - Enjoyed it. There might be some that Im missing cant look it up cus Im at work also sorry for lack of form typing this on phone really isnt since getting hold of input cursor is a pain in itself will edit this once I get back and wont fall asleep imediately. Since your also listed a few early 2000er shows I'll recommend these: - Spirited Away (?) - Monster - Kino no Tabi - Ergo Proxy - Texhnolyze - Millenium Actress If you want recs for newer stuff (2005 onwards), I've some more recommendations. I missed the announcement that they were going to be doing a full season of anime based on the project. For some reason, I thought it was a pre-quel series for a different anime that had already been done. | ||
