I just can't help but appreciate the wild turns of events each episode. This whole episode felt so orchestrated by Benten and the moment when she poked out her tounge at Yasaboru was so satifying.
Did they use the soundtrack, that was being played during the death scene of Soun, before? I didn't recognise it but it sure as hell is a great addition to the phenomenal soundtrack used in the series, inculding s1. It's honestly mind-blowing how much change in the emotional impact they achieve with the soundtrack in this series.
I have to say I find this disconnect between people hating Eromanga and people loving it really entertaining. Let's look on MAL for a second and you see stuff like this:

Seems like Japanese people like it while foreigners don't. Not a very uncommon thing. I doubt Westerners would like Kemono friends either. Not like it matters when they already made the money off those foreigners by selling the broadcasting rights to them.

yeah it is indeed ANN's rating, my bad. Mentioned MAL above for some reason.
They basicly review a select amount of shows each season (the ones in the screenshot in this case) and have a section where people can click to show how much they personally (in contrast to the reviewer himself) liked this specific, single episode. The chart above is just the average of users for each anime for each week. Not to be taken serious but fun to look at
