BF, I can understand how you feel. I was super close to dropping it as well but they kinda redeemed themselves. Akko is still annoying as fuck with her bullshit idealistic spoutings. | ||

I liked Diana better in the OVA and movie. She feels kinda bland in the tv series (a bit less so with the last 2 eps) | ||

I still think this vol in particular is really bad. The introduction was somewhat funny (while incredibly ... what's the opposite of classy?) and all that, mostly due to Soras reactions and change in attitude every time he heard some new piece of information but besides that it just was a mess for me. + Show Spoiler + The "game" was't even a game and while that's somewhat normal for the series, it usually thrives on it being hilarious or interesting bullshit one way or the other. In this case it just wasn't anything. The only good thing about it for me was the realization that we're going to get Flügel in it's continuation... anyways. It had some good parts here and there that made me laugh but there's no way around calling vol4 what it was: a disappointment. Perhaps not as bad this time because I knew what I was getting into. That being said, now that I've made it through this one without ragequitting I'm somewhat determined to get to the rest and got a question for the people reading it: Which one is the vol that they're doing for the movie? I heard that that's a bit of a stand-alone and from the cover alone I'd guess it has to be vol6 but just to be sure. Don't want to read that before watching the movie if I can skip it and the rest still makes sense. | ||
