Lol honeybadger meme: the manga of all things is getting an anime. There are so many unadapted series that would make great anime but they're adapting bottom-of-the-barrel garbage that won't sell for shit instead.

What are the currently great mangas that are still ongoing and don't have an anime yet.
I need more things to read.

Dungeon meshi is one.
Though, for me it's mostly things that should get second or third seasons more so than stuff that needs an anime to begin with.

Cooking Dungeon would be really amazing. There's definitely enough content there for a season.

Hinamatsuri is the only manga i'm reading that's still ongoing and unadapted so you could try that. It's a comedy about a yakuza that finds an esper girl and adopts her.
Haven't read them myself but i've heard good things about Vinland saga and Grand blue too.

Also true, miss the days when 2 cour shows weren't an exception.

Kaguya wants to be confessed to is a fun manga. The OP Bow~
Slime is a nice WN/Manga thing
Yuragi-so no Yuuna-san has some top notch designs for characters and its a decent harem.
Tomo-chan as at least a short would be amazing.
|
Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru, The Breaker and The Breaker: New Waves, Bartender (think of Shokugeki no Soma),
That's all I can think of for now
|
Cool, I'll make sure to check all of them out. Dungeon meshi I had already planned to check out. Heard that it was really good.
I think I agree with unleashing and would prefer more seasons for stuff that already have anime.

Neo already got me into kaguya and yuragi. Heh. Op bow and hayasaka are so fun.
Do you like oboro like neo.

Oboro is nice but I'm more a Sagiri man myself. Most of the girls are pretty great though.
|
same, sagiri is the best. chisaki and yuuna pretty close for me as well. oboro is actually on the bottom of my ranking. :^)

I wait everyday for a Tomo-chan anime announcement.
Theres not a single character that I dislike.

finished Erin.
solid show. good fantasy. interesting artwork. good story(albeit slow, and a little trite). my heart says 9/10 but my brain is saying something more like 7..5-8/10
i honestly liked the slower middle parts better than the ending arc tbh. When she's with Jone until about the time she's graduating and the final arc is just starting to get started are my favorite parts.

Tomo-chan as at least a short would be amazing. Kaguya was better in its initial months. It's still decent (the author is really good at framing jokes), but I think it's lost a lot of its charm now that it's very clearly strayed into normal romcom territory.
I think I made it about 350 pages into Tomo-chan before I dropped it. A lot of the jokes are pretty meh, and the plot doesn't really go anywhere. Carol and Misuzu basically carried the whole thing for me. Being a 4koma also didn't help.

Between Erin and Seirei, I think Seirei has superior pacing, but Erin packs more punch in its key moments. I love both for their internal consistency though - nothing that happens really feels like an asspull. God knows that's rare these days.

About 4 € for 1 season, not bad. Pretty smart of them to license Gits + Sac too.
Why can't you buy them in a bundle though ? It's so annoying to have to buy them all individually. Nvm it's fixed now.
