AFAIK they aren't actually coming out and saying it, and instead are doing it silently. Or at least, the last I checked they hadn't announced it. Twitter and reddit exposed it. And of course, the quality PR reps and what not for crunchyroll started going off about "pirates" and what not, completely missing the point lol

Sunrise main studio is also quite incredible. Pity they mostly do stuff I'm not a huge fan of. Was early in the morning after almost getting killed by a Truck on the Autobahn, didn't read the rest of it and just responded without knowing what it's about to vent some :3 about the Crunchyroll thing... if CR does that... doesn't that HS does it as well since they're just ripping CR in the first place? So only solution would be to wait 3-5 days for memesubs or raws?

So it's looking less and less like a technically issue. Guess you can't expect much from a company that started by ripping off fansub groups and charging people for the stolen work. That is fucking rich, lol.

Girl has uncurable disease that will eventually kill her. Very sad. Also this drama is better than the above two shows so you should watch this.

Also, given how CR's system can be knocked over with a stiff breeze, I wouldn't be surprised if they're trying to do some kind of change to the back end system. Of course, they did also just get bought by/merged with another company and they're really pushing on the VRV thing. I can't tell anything about quality issues, but then I haven't watched anything recently that wasn't released that day.

Not the best but fits 100% what you just asked about. Not like it was bad or anything like that, just cheesy
