Revy is hot. -.-' Damn that fanservice. It seems like Roberta is hearing the voice of god. That woman is batshit insane. Don't take too many pills, it's not good for the head. Orange deals with depression, I guess that counts. I somehow can't remember what the girl in Anohana had, duh. I think he has watched the more recent shows though (last couple of years).

Crunchyroll is always working towards serving the highest possible video quality to our users. To keep up with our growing audience and the many ways people are consuming anime, we've been working on a new infrastructure to better support viewing. Last weekend, new episodes were released through the new infrastructure to test the system's ability to serve video to large portions of the Crunchyroll audience. The encodes that some users experienced were not up to the standards of our previous system, nor up to the standards we demand from ourselves. While we identified issues with the encodes, solutions for a broad rollout require us to first move completely to the new infrastructure. Going forward, we have updated the video experience for simulcasts and new episodes within the new infrastructure. As the transition to this new infrastructure is complete, we will re-encode all of our catalog with this higher quality. Please know that it will never be Crunchyroll's intention to lessen the viewing experience. In cases like this we're grateful users reached out to us and provided feedback about the issue. We appreciate the patience with our efforts and will continue working to bring an improved viewing experience across Crunchyroll. ///later update: This means you will experience an improved encode for future releases on the new infrastructure, which will no longer use the lower quality encodes after any amount of time. For anyone who wants further technical detail on our encodes, our engineers will be releasing a blog post shortly. if someone wanted to know

Anohana is more of friends coping with the loss of a loved one. All I can think of are maybe these. https://myanimelist.net/anime/101/Air https://myanimelist.net/anime/3420/Shigofumi this might be stretching it, but one of the girls does have some sort of illness. https://myanimelist.net/anime/2924/ef__A_Tale_of_Memories

+ Show Spoiler [scenes from this episode] + Wiz mighty angry looks soooo good: ![]() And Aqua during her final attack: ![]() ![]() but really, these 3 scenes: https://streamable.com/urg83 https://streamable.com/1dnut https://streamable.com/2uxwh why is this show so good :3 ///rip, I apparently scaled them down to 852x532?!? oh well, not going to upload it again... ///2nd edit: While there was no anouncement for s3 they're apparently having an event on april 9th, so maybe we'll get some news in a bit. Otherwise I'd expect a s3 adaptation maybe with slightly more time inbetween (s1 <-> s2 was what? 2 seasons or something like that?) to not overlap the "advertisement effect" too much but this shit is still selling like hotcakes in pretty much every category you could imagine: The BDs were estimated around 10k for vol1 last time I checked (not during the game anouncement) and while I doubt they'll be that high they'll easily sell a lot. The LNs while not ranking individually the way they did while s1 aired are still selling really well overall, with supposedly 120k sold books in january etc. They started selling the books in english via Yen Press, the game above got announced today etc... I would be shocked if there's not going to be a season3 with that, especially considering how highly regarded vol5+6 are for fans of the series, which would be up next for adaptation

I took the anime in my list more on the "end of life theme" than "illness" theme, since he specified both in his request I find all of those anime I mentioned being in a major way centered about death or avoiding it in some meaningful way. + Show Spoiler + also the girl's name is Menma. Never forget.

Well, I think watching Clannad before After Story makes After Story a lot stronger. The first season kinda sucks, that's true, it's still worth it for the build-up for AS and for the romance. Honestly, Clannad has one of the most realistic romance developments in anime imho.

But you don't need the first season for the buildup. The first 12-13 episodes of afterstory is enough. Believe me, I'm walking proof of that.+ Show Spoiler + I mean I felt just as dehydrated by the end of it as any other person watching If anything, It makes afterstory more enjoyable because you don't hate the first half of afterstory while watching it. And you get the cherry on top of watching how they met afterwards.

I didn't shed a tear in Anohana. For me, a build-up is incredibly important because I grew a thick skin over the years. Otherwise I would cry every fucking time I watch/read the news or consume a piece of satire... What I want to say is watching AS first may work for some people but I would argue that watching Clannad first works at least as good for everyone. Why would you hate the first half of AS anyways?
