If you come in here looking for "anime recommendations" then please refer to this chart before posting: Anime Recommendations (as of may 2014). We also have an IRC channel called #tladt where we all hang out. The channel is on Rizon, not QuakeNet! Feel free to check it out. TLADT discord is Discord.gg

Wooo, regiment shokugeki starts. Nene being awkward with the soba theme was lol. Can't wait to see what happens next 2-3 chapters to see how the yakisoba compares. I feel like its kind of wasted though that two of the members will essentially be sous chefs to 1 main chef in the 3v3
From what I understand, each chef got a different theme and each will have to present a different dish. The only change from a regular shokugeki is that they can help each other during the making of each dish. So three separate dishes all of which can be worked on together
Oh yea. This makes a lot more sense now that I remember they picked a theme too.
Also, it doesn't surprise me with seeing people annoyed at LWA not bearing up over the long haul. It started off as a short film project, then got a few more films. I don't know that long term story planning was something they really looked at until they had a cour to fill.
So what is everybody going to watch in april. For me, only Uchouten Kazuko s2 is a must watch. I'll probably watch Bahamut s2 as well because the first season was decent enough. AoT s2 (wouldn't be able to stand the cliffhangers) and Natsume s3265923 (haven't watched s1) are going to my backlog. I'm thinking about Clockwork Planet, Seikaisuru Kado (not really, Toei -.-') and Re:Creators but none of them looks very promising. Does anybody know the sources of those?
HYPE LIST Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka? (aka sukasuka) - very acclaimed story. Almost a winner of kono ranobe. I follow some people on twitter that have read this and they love it too and I'm sure they have fantastic taste so Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata s2 - woooooooooooooooooooo maruto. wooooo tomoya getting btfo. Sakurada Reset - I heard this was good Uchouten Kazoku S2 - Morimi, not much to be said.
Watch: Clockwork planet - NGNL author Ero Manga sensei - Fushimi Tsukasa(oreimo) author. Also, "I love dicks" girl. Danmachi Sword oratoria: high level dungeon crawling without bell. Seems good Kabukibu - seems interesting. I think this is actually a novel and not considered a ln I think. Shingeki No kyojin s2 - fun, too bad this will be the shit arc where they fight against humans more than titans. Zero kara hajimeru no sho - it's dengeki, I feel obligated.
try Tsuki ga kirei- maybe this Seiji kishi show will be nice. Shingeki no bahamut s2 - didn't really like s1 but I somehow finished it so I'll give this a try Sakura quest - this must be shirobako's spiritual successor rokudenshi - this looks like that other harem ln with the teacher and the beetles. I remain skeptical since I dropped that. Re:creators - uhhh, chuu2 ? I love chuu2. Kekkai sensen - I somehow finished s1 so I'll try this. hopefully it has a forcefully shoved in anime-only plot and not just weird episodic stories. boruto - uhh, maybe
I'll look at other stuff later. for movies, prob stick to wasuyu, mahouka, and yoru wa mijikashi for now.
Not bad, we'll see how it actually is when it starts airing.
Its being made by KyoAni, I think. They are pretty much the best in the business when it comes to consistently good animation and art, so its fair to assume whatever this robogrill anime is, it'll at least look great.
Since people are talking about beautifully animated stuff i'll just plug for Redline and say that anyone who likes or even remotely cares about animation basically needs to watch redline, even if they don't even give a singlular fuck about the content of the movie.
